Hi Im Kim and Im suffering from congentital heart problems and a blood clotting disease called thrombophilia. I am here to ask if anyone could donate christmas items for me that relate to a baby girl who I will be having soon as a premie. I could use so much for her and I am overwhelmed . My ex fiance grandparents is raising 3rd generation grand kids, an struggling, They are in there 70s an grandma working so far behind on bills.So now struggling for the holidays.Can some one help them for thanks giving dinner.My ex has not been home in 5 yrs.He is going to be there Wednesday for a few days. So they are trying to thanks giving this weekend before he leaves again.Im struggling my self, i have no money to help.I cant even help to cook,Im in az state.Som one pls help these wonderful elders.They are now raising about 7 more grand children an working.Some one please help them.Thank you!!!!!

In search of individuals with hoarding tendencies

Discovery Studios, a division of Discovery Communications, Inc., is producing a new hour-long documentary style series about hoarding, to be aired on broadcast television. We are currently recruiting people who would like to participate.

If you or someone in your life is chronically disorganized, we would like the opportunity to speak with you. For those willing to participate, we will offer assistance with finding licensed therapists as well as professional organizers who can offer support.

The goal of the series is to promote better understanding of why people hoard, what steps can be taken to deal with the issue, and how a comprehensive exploration of this common problem can lead to positive change for the people involved. We understand the very personal and sometimes embarrassing nature of this issue. Our series will treat all program participants with respect and compassion.

Someone to put up a few flyers (Everywhere)

I am need of some kind hearted dog lover to print and put some flyers on two rescue dogs and their pups. Two Red Lab Mix dogs were dumped while they were preguant. Now they have had their pups and all are in a foster home in Clinton, MO. I need help getting the message out to find responsible pet owners for all the dogs, moms and pups. If you have the time to put some flyers up at local Vets, shelters, grocery stores, dental offices, and anywhere they will let you. Be sure to mention that you are not a breeder or seller and the dogs are RESCUE DOGS, that need help. What EXACTLY do hospice volunteers do?
~ Offer friendship to lonely and/or isolated patients
~ Provide respite for a short time, allowing caregivers to have a much needed break

~ Spend time in the office filing paperwork, putting together admissions packets, working on projects, etc

Basketball Coaching Opportunity (columbia missouri)

I'm coaching a 5th grade boys recreational team and need some help. I'm looking for at least one dedicated person to help out with this because the people that I had lined up are unable to help now. The season starts in the begining of November and there is one practice/week that lasts 90 minutes. Games will be on Saturday mornings and will begin in January and end sometime in March. No experience is necessary. All I ask is that you can pass a background check, value sportsmanship, and can tolerate a bunch of wild kids. If you do have experience playing that is great!

About Me: I'm 24 and this is my second year as a head coach. I played basketball growing up and will soon be finishing my degree in education. I one day look forward to coaching a team at the school I'll be teaching in. I like teams that run and are committed to defense.

Almeta Crayton's "Everybody Eats!" Thanksgiving dinner - help needed (Columbia)

Almeta's gearing up for her annual community feast and food basket giveaway. Right now, volunteers and donations are needed:

Volunteers: in mid-late November, help sort and hand out food, deliver food to the elderly and disabled, decorate the dining hall, cook and serve (on Thanksgiving Day)

Cash donations needed: This year, a restaurant wasn't available for free use. Almeta was able to get the Cosmo Club hall. Donations would be appreciated to help pay for the hall's rental.

Food donations needed: turkeys, hams, canned vegetables (especially green beans), canned cranberry sauce, bread, muffin and stuffing mix, potatoes, onions, celery, mac and cheese boxed mix, canned fruit salad, butter / margarine, eggs.

Almeta's been sponsoring this event for several years, as an unpaid volunteer. NO government money is received for this annual dinner; it is 100% supported by Columbia's generosity!! She receives no compensation and has dug out of her own pocket when needed. Her health continues to be fragile, as she remains on dialysis. This wonderful community celebration helps those in need throughout Columbia and Boone County. Many businesses have closed or laid off workers this year, and the need continues to be great. Please remember your neighbors during this happy holiday and help if you can.
