We are currently recruiting for vehicle evaluators to write diagnostics reports on a select group of pre-production and prototype vehicles. 1. Determine the number of Vehicle Evaluators needed.
2. Coordinate with staffing company for Vehicle Evaluators.
3. Train newly hired Vehicle Evaluators on specific routes and safety.
4. Ensure sufficient numbers of Vehicle Evaluators are scheduled for each shift.
5. Schedule Vehicle Evaluators for the assigned shift.
6. On course spot checks to ensure compliance with test procedures.
7. Control vehicle transportation to and from dealer or other shop for repairs upon customer instructions.
8. Assist Vehicle Evaluators during shift changes and in the event of vehicle breakdown, accidents, inclement weather, etc.
9. Ensure vehicle availability for scheduled maintenance, repairs and ballast requirements.
10. Ensure vehicle cleanliness as per test/customer requirements.
11. Identify and evaluate the data generated through test drives and inspections.
12. Edit paperwork and provide quality vehicle issue descriptions in all documentation.
13. Enter data into data base from driver reports and diagnostic sheets, or send to corporate office as required.
14. Compile reports concerning progress of programs to apprise management of test status.
15. Act as a liaison between MDE and the onsite customer to ensure proper actions are taken when issues arise.
16. Perform verifications of issues on vehicles.
17. Coordinate parts handling for incoming and outgoing parts.
18. Coordinate vehicle transfers.
19. Review GPS tracking data for continuous improvement.
20. Implement route improvements as needed within the test parameters.
21. Develop new routes as needed.
22. Assure facility and employee appearance meet company standards on his/her shift.
23. Set standards for staff by appropriately modeling company policies and norms.
24. May act as Data Entry and Vehicle Evaluator as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ride with Vehicle Evaluators to ensure adherence to test / safety requirements and job fitness.
2. Coordinate with Management and Maintenance positions on scheduling of work on test vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education and/or experience: High School diploma or GED, and Associates degree or equivalent in engineering; and a basic understanding of automotive testing.
• Language skills: Fluent in English language. Read and understand safety rules and test procedures in English; able to communicate test and safety information and instructions in written and spoken English.
• Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate by addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with an understanding of proportionality and fractions.
• Computer skills: Extremely proficient with PC and Microsoft Office applications and Internet Explorer.
• Reasoning ability: Able to solve practical problems, overcome unique situations with little assistance, and to identify vehicle problems when necessary and come up with logical, workable, short –term and long-term solutions.
• Certificates, Licenses and registrations: Must have a Valid Driver’s License and Associates degress or equivalent experience in relevant areas. Must pass a seven (7) year reference check.
• Physical demands: Requires walking and standing, and sitting for long periods to time to do clerical work. Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally, and lift and carry 10 pounds frequently, sometimes across outside terrain.
• Work environment: Will work in office, maintenance shop, outside the buildings, or in a vehicle.
