Heroines of Shakespeare (Lebanon) $200

I can find no printing date in this book. However, it was printed by the London Printing and Publishing Company, Limited.
I tried to find out more about it when I purchased it, but, the only thing I could find was an almost exact copy. Almost. The one I found was printed in 1849 by Charles Heath in New York. The front page is exactly the same with the addition of Mr. Heath's name and the change in the publisher. All of the text is exactly the same. It does make one wonder, doesn't it?

The leather binding is intact with corner rubs and some spine rubbing. All of the fabulous engravings are intact. Little to no foxing. Two pages at the front and back are not connected. I did not have this repaired. This is precisely how I purchased this book. This is surely a first edition, in my opinion. However, I cannot guarantee that.

I will be listing quite a few more rare/antique books as time goes by as I am trying to pare my household down.

Please do not contact me about anything other than this book! I have no interest in get rich quick or work at home schemes.

Deluxe 1771 Encyclopedia Britannica Reproduction (Lebanon) $215

These 3 volumes are a precise replica of the originals, complete with faux foxing on the pages and leather bindings. The only thing wrong is aflter years of use, one edge of the spine has been cracked and needs mending. I did not want to put binders tape on it. It was this way when I bought them. These are wonderful reproductions of the very first encyclopedia Britannica published in the US.

I DO NOT want to join your sister's boyfriend's uncle's mother's money making scheme. I don't care how much money you say you make, I turn everyone I get over to craigslist abuse and laugh when the senders are kicked off!
I prefer cash and do not accept money orders, holds, layaways or "Wimpy's deals".

This is a boxed set reproduction of the 1836 series. There are seven books. Starting with the Primer through the 4th grade. Includes the progressive speller and pictorial reader. They are all in very good to excellent shape.
