This book is in perfect conditon, but I used it for a history class a couple of years ago so a few pages have some phrases highlited.

! # - RARE WW2, AV BOOK : MENACE FROM MORESBY 5th AF HISTORY. PTO. (USA) $50

This is a copy of the book: THE MENACE FROM MORESBY, by RUSSELL L. SINTON. that was published right after the war in 1946 by NEWSFOTO PUBL.CO. It is the unit history of the 5th Air Force in the Pacific Theater of Operations in WW2 from the start of the hostilities to the final victory - VJ Day. It is a pictorial history mainly and has a lot of photos not published elswhere. It has 218 pgs (but none are numbered)

The book is in very good condition. It is very slightly bowed from top to bottom - and I mean very slightly! On the inside of the cover an owners name has been blacked out and the back cover has one area where the fabric has sort of balooned out a bit from the inner hard board. But other than that there is nothing wrong with it. Maybe a bit yellowed with age.

If you're a WW2 aviation buff this is a terrific book to add to your collection and at a very reasonable price!!! ( they sell for over $200 in some listings)

Christmas is coming. This will make a great gift!

The Lab book comes in a 3 ring binder and has had the holepunches mended with stickies as needed. There are a few markings in this book, but they were there when I purchased it.

Both books were purchased used. According to Sinclair Bookstore's website they are only offering NEW versions of these books. The NEW versions will cost you $255.76.
The only other material needed for this class is the resource guide which must be purchased at the bookstore because you will turn in select pages through the quarter.
