HOTWIRE is an established R & B band based out of Springfield OH. We have been playing private corperate parties and festivals for the past 3 years and now need a drummer and 2 female bu singers. Our former drummer is moving to Chicago and taking the girls with him! We played 90+ shows in 2009 and all got paid real well. We don't do the bar thing as there's just no money there. We are in it for the money, but still have a great time on stage. The band consists of 1 male lead singer/frontman that also plays a mean sax, guitar player/singer that has toured with Chubby Checker, one of the best bass players in the country from Mississippi, and a great keyboard player. We also have a horn section we use on the bigger shows and then all hell breaks loose, as the band is a powerhouse. Concentrating on the drummer postion first, but welcome female singers to rehearse as well. Must be good looking in shape and have no restrictions on travel. We have a new tour bus that was donated to the band last year, so you will have your own sleeping quarters and it's a class act. We are in the midst of building a new web site and putting together a new promo pack, but need the new members to complete. 2 year old fix jack russell X Beagle (Piqua)

Zoey is looking for her forever home. She is a foster that has been with me for about 5 months now. The right home just hasn't come along. Zoey is housebroken, good with kids of all ages, other dogs, ok with cats but likes to chaise them, loves car rides, fetches, sits, shakes. I can not say enough good things about Zoey. We just have to many rescues/fosters at the moment or she would be a permanent doggy! My son is 4 and Autistic and she's been a great companion! We have children 11, 10, 8, and 4. She tollerates tail pulling, taking bones out of her mouth, taking balls and other toys out of her mouth by all kids. Just an easy dog to live with. She does however climb trees, and MUST have a fenced yard or be walked to go potty. She has energy to burn and will run off. She's a little hard headed when outside. She loves playing with other dogs and will run laps around the yard. She is not hyper in the house but will play some. If she is only dog in the house she will just lay around and play when you want to play.

Beagle needs a home (New Carlisle)

We rescued Max from starvation and exhaustion several months ago. Now he is thriving and sweet, but we are not dog people and he spends his days on a chain looking longingly at the world around him. Very nice tempered...loves to be played with. He has been spayed, but has lived outside while with us. We don't know about his past as far as housebroken/ etc. However he is very friendly and not afraid, so I don't think he has been mistreated.

We are a serious METAL band from the Dayton area thats is seeking a new vocalist to join the band. With this current line-up we have been together since early June of 2008 and played some 30+ shows. politics (Dayton F.C)

Don't get so upset with each other of what the government is doing or not doing. They really don't care what you think. They pay attention just enough to know what to say to get the 25%of us that vote to cast one for them. Does living in a free country really mean that I have to pay my 85 dollar red light camera ticket first if I want to dispute it? or Wendy’s stock jumps 10fold every time the play that irritating fish song? Is that what the men and women serving over seas are killing and dying for? It’s all about consumption. and getting the poverty to the poverty/middle class line only means they will make more money in taxes later. like an investment loan.

(WE DONT SIT ON OUR BUMS ALL DAY AND WATCH TV WE ARE AN ACTIVE BUNCH) As For Discipline, I usually follow the punishment techniques the Parent use at home but I must say I am not a "Spanker" I use the Time out and The Corner Methods , I provide Breakfast, Lunch, and (Dinner If needed) as well as Snacks, I am CPR Trained. I Live in Kettering Off of Dorothy Lane and Woodman, I have a Licenced and Insured Third Row SUV With a Clean Driving Record, And my Assitant has a licenced and insured Mini Van so I Will BE ABLE to Transport to and From School and Activities, and we have 4 Toddler Car seats, 4 booster seats, and so Traveling Will Never be an Issue, I provide Everything except Daipers and Wipes, Unless your child is on a Strict Special Diet ie: Lactose free ect. or on Baby Formula I Provide Breakfast, Lunch, 2 Healthy Snacks and Dinner if Needed. The Parrot is less than a year old. I do not know if it is male or female. It loves to sing and take showers. I bought it hand fed and it loves women. Its name is Puffin, and its very sweet.

The Cage is a beautiful galvanized black/gray metal. It is very easy to clean. You just spray with cleaner and a garden hose. You pull out a tray and line it with paper. It is that easy!
The cage is 57 inches tall from top to the wheels, 24 inches across from right to left, and 22 inches deep from front to back. It has a metal removable skirt to help keep seeds off the ground. I paid $150 for the bird and $300 for the cage.

dumped dogs need second chance (preble/wayne county)

Ok I first would like to talk about ppl who dump dogs on the side of the road... Do you realize if your unwanted pet does not find a home or someone to take him or her in.. what happens? Well I do, I see it all the time..they wait and wait and wait by the side of the road where you left them .. Hoping that you will return, some of the older pets will wait without food or water for days.. Younger ones will travel to the nearest house and usually get run off the property or shot (if they are in the country). If they live they usually go back to where you left them standing as you drove away ..Or where they could not chase you anymore because you drove so fast..

I know I saw this pair of dogs on craigslist before Christmas...I found them on my way home from work ..they were in a ditch along side Oxford -Gettysburg Road outside of Eaton. They had been there a long time but the Snow had to melt before I saw them (I pass there everyday) So they made it through the big snows we had, but they were very skinny and looked terrible. My heart went out to them and I picked them both up and brought them home. I have been feeding them for about 2 1/2 weeks now and they are looking better ..

I CANNOT keep them .I have two outside dogs of my own. I am offering them for re-homing.. they are very sweet dogs and are both MALE, Love to walk with me up our lane. Get along with my other dogs with no fights, no problems.. they are about 6 to 8 months old. They will bark at strangers ...but they settle down quickly when you go to pet them.

Young Yellow Lab (Huber Heights)

We have found a young female yellow lab in our yard. She has no tags or collar, very friendly. My niece has walked the dog all over our neighthood and no one recognises her. I tried calling the animal shelter to have them come and pick her up, simply to keep her safe until her owners can find her, but got an answering machine. We can not keep her in our yard or house because we have a Shepherd/Akita mix and a Jack Russell of our own. If anyone knows where this dog belongs, please contact us @ 825-4007. I would hate for her to get hurt running the streets.

Good Companion/Work (non-therapeutic) Dog (Hillsboro Area)

Mixed breed, very smart, highly active, jumps like a deer, 2-years-old. Dog was coming along great, though while she gets along with all other dogs, she (being jealous and alpha prone) had problems with the mainstay Shepard who had more favor. Cannot keep her due to the conflict between the two. No-kill adoption shelter is full and she's deserving of more than being put down, so looking for someone or a couple that can give her the attention she needs. She responds instantly to her name and was coming along with voice and gesture commands. As stated, could make a great companion/work dog.

From a distance, if you don't see her head, looks like a small deer. Golden eyes. Loves attention.

Kota needs a new home Adult male mini dachshund (Dayton area)

I have an almost 6 yr old long haired mini Dachshund. His name is Kota. up to date on vaccines and Neutered. He is love able, friendly, and full of life. However, he had back issues last year. He has gained his mobility back, but walks like a stumbling drunk. I had to move back in with my parents due to separation from my husband, and I am having huge financial issues. Also my mom has a dominate male Yorkie who tries to pick fights with him. I have no where else to go. No extra money to get him Vet help, he is due for his annual dental cleaning as well. I don't know where to turn to. I was hoping to find someone to help. I work part time and go to school full time. Which school is an hour away, and work is 45 mins away in the other direction. I barely make enough to cover gas. If you can help my little guy find a new FOREVER home I would appreciate it.

Dog looking for a home

I took a lab mix from a man a few weeks ago who was not taking care of her. He said that she was a great health and such. I took her to my vet and she had such a horrible ear infection that the doctors said it will take months to cure (the last owner said her ears get dry just to put some lotion on it). She also has a heart murmur (stage 4, on a scale of 1-6, 6 being the worst). After taking her to the vet twice to get her ears infection under control it is costing me an arm and a leg (and it will still take more time to get the infection gone). I also had her tested for heart worms (neg), and started her on a heart guard, started only a week ago. I will give you all the paper work that I have had don eon her. She is great with kids and new people. She has only barked a few times in the two weeks we have had her. She is fully potty trained. I would love to keep her but my money is running out and I have another dog that I am commited to that needs care also. If you are interested in Doree please email me. She is a great family dog.
