Resumes are currently being accepted for the position of Director of Personnel for Erie County who will be responsible to effectively develop, implement, administer, and direct any and all Human Resource activities, policies, and programs for Erie County. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources Management or Personnel Management with experience working in multiple disciplines including Compensation, Employee Benefits, Human Resources Information Systems, Labor Relations, and Organizational Development to include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial / Labor Relations, Personnel Administration or related field is preferred. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of experience will be required. Previous Human Resources Management experience in any level government, experience working in a union environment, and experience working in an environment of approximately1300 employees is strongly desired. PHR (Professional Human Resources) or SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) Certification preferred.

Physician Recruiter (Erie )

Organizes and executes all aspects of assisting with physician and allied health recruitment including position detailing, generating candidates by sourcing nationally, screening candidates to match needs, working up leads and arranging candidate interviews, acting as a contract negotiations liaison, assisting with new physician orientation along with Coordinator and assisting with physician retention activities as needed.

Also assists with coordination of placement of locum tenens physicians as needed. Acts as inhouse expert regarding physician recruitment and reports to and is mentored by the Director of Physician Recruitment and Development. In addition, the physician recruiter works with the Recruitment Coordinator, the Director of Medical Staff Administration and the SVP of Medical Affairs on all aspects of recruitment and retention. The physician recruiter works closely with internal departments to ensure physician recruitment and "onboarding" is seamless and also works with private pratices to assist them with their recruitment needs as above.
