Instructors for Pashto Language (Georgia & Maryland)

Growing language school is seeking full time instructors for teaching the language of Pashto.

The successful candidate will have an MA in an area such as a particular language, linguistics, literature or second language studies plus 3 years experience in teaching adults a language or languages.

We are particularly interested in those who can teach two or more regional languages. To teach a language the candidate must have skills in that language at 4/4/4/4 ILR scale.

The candidate must be familiar with technology.

Early Childhood Ed Specialist (Evansville and surrounding area)

To implement comprehensive training and technical assistance for the Early Head Start and Head Start community in the metro and out state areas.

Position would include working from home any where in the state. Laptops, printers, phones, and a stipend for office supplies will be provided. The position will involve some travel, and it would be local travel around the state (or area) in which you live. Mileage and any other travel-related expenses reimbursed.

• Degree in Early Childhood Education/Development at the bachelor's degree level with masters' degree preferred

• Minimum of five years experience in programs for young children (this could be Head Start, pre-K, child care, Early Head Start).

• The degree and experience for a least one ECE specialist must be inclusive of both birth to three and three to five year old development and learning. This experience should include the provision of training and technical assistance to teachers/home visitors and education managers

• Significant background in the use of reliable data collection systems that track measurable outcomes for children and programs.

• The capacity to implement comprehensive training and technical assistance for the Early Head Start and Head Start community.

• Demonstrated experience supporting the training and technical assistance needs of early childhood programs serving children from birth to five, specifically with programs serving infants and toddlers.

• Demonstrated experience providing training and technical assistance specific to child assessment, curriculum implementation and selection.

• It is required that all individuals have some relationships established with the early education community in that state.

• Provision of T/TA to teachers/home visitors and education managers.

• Demonstrated experience of school readiness.

• Demonstrated experience of training/career development needs of staff.

$13.00 for an after school position. This job is from 3:00-5:30. The job is on Mon, Wed, Fri. It is for a total of 18 days. You must have a clean background. You must be at least 21.
