This is a great amp used only for recording. Missing footswitch but otherwise in great condition!

As with all Peavey 5150 amps they have the Brown sound - a smooth crunch sound along with great lush harmonics. The Peavey 5150 Combo amp is a combination of the Peavey 5150 amp design with two 12" Sheffield 1200 speakers. The amp features 60 watts RMS and is voiced to EVH specs. This is the same specifications used in his amps. The preamp section consists of five 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6 power amp tubes. The preamp section has two channels: a Rhythm channel and lead channel. The Rhythm channel has both PRE and POST gain controls. It also has bright and crunch switches. The lead channel consists of PRE and POST gain controls so you can get any sound between ultra-clean to molten lead tube sound. The 5150 Combo also has a 3-band EQ (global) as well as Presence and Resonance controls. There is also an Effects Loop post-EQ as well as a preamp out for connecting to another amp or for recording. The speaker cabinet is of the closed back design and consists of Two Sheffield 1200 12" speakers that have been voiced to Edward Van Halen's specs.

Tune 5 string bass - Black - near mint - sounds incredible! (West Fargo) $475

Just got this one off eBay back in Dec. It's a Korean model, not the real, real, good ones out of Japan. I love the playability and tone from this - very versatile with the 3-band and notch filter. Great low action with no buzz. And the string spacing at the bridge is 18mm. The bathroom scale I used showed the wt. of this bass at 9.5 - 10 lbs.

Condition and appearance are a 9+/10. It had a few pick/fingernail scratches around the pups and knobs, so when I restrung it I buffed those out with rubbing compound and gave it a polish. You can still see a couple of them but have to literally be within inches to do so (a little more rubbing compound and some elbow grease would eliminate those it you so desired). Also, FYI, I put on a nearly new set of DR Hi-Beams.

As for the tone, it's fantastic! Very bright, modern, sounding (notch filter at full clockwise . . . can get very different sounds with small adjustments on the filter . . . reminds me of the mid-sweep knob from my Peavey USA Millennium, just not nearly as convenient as it's located on the PCB board under the back cover). Also, this bass has one of the best Low B's I've ever heard from a 34" scale bass. Very tight and pronounced.

1972 Yamaha FG-630 12-String (Fargo) $585

1972 Yamaha FG-630 12-String - $585

This guitar is one of the most sought after 12 string guitars Yamaha has made. It was hand assembled at the Nippon Gakki factory in Japan.

The top is AA Grade Solid Spruce. The sides and back are Brazilian Jacaranda Rosewood. After almost 40 years, this guitar has developed a beautiful tone that won’t be found in any new guitar. The neck is a bound Mahogany with an Ebony Fingeroard having top and side dot markers. The bridge is also ebony. This guitar is a 637mm scale length, 1 11/16” at the nut

The FG-630 has higher quality wood than the 500 series models. It was also the highest 12 string model before you jump to the 1000 series of FG guitars. The bindings are all multi-ply, the center back strip is Maple, and the bound slot head is beautiful. It’s a real work of art.


Condition is very good for a nearly 40 year old instrument. There are no cracks or repairs -- there are a few dings and scratches that don't show in the picture but nothing major. This is an excellent guitar with no playing concerns. Paul Hvidsten, the Luthier at Marguerites recently went through the guitar to make sure everything is in good condition, set it up and put on new strings.

It comes in a hard shell case which looks similar to the ones Martin was using in the 70's.

It has a footswitchable effects loop that can be used as a boost channel. 4 6L6 power tubes and 4 12AX7 preamp tubes. The power tubes can be swapped to run EL34s as well. The amp is only about a year old and in very good condition. It comes with a 4 button footswitch as well. This is a great amp for those who don't $2000 laying around for a Mesa Boogie or Peavey XXX.
