Petitioners Needed-Good Money-Interesting Job (Central Valley)

Seniors Do very well at this job.This is a good job for afternoons, evenings and weekends for those of you trying to make extra money. Also a good job if you are out of work and need to be able to flex your time to go on interviews. You can do this full or part time. Pay is weekly. If you have done customer service or sales, you will be good at this job. If you have seen people gathering signatures outside of groceries, Wal-Mart and Target, this is what you do. You pick the hours and place you work. It is a legitimate job.

Petitioning is a challenging and interesting job that requires a person with good people skills and legible printing to obtain signatures from registered voters. You will also be registering voters whose address is not current so their signature will be valid on the petition. NEED TO BE ABLE TO READ, BE SELF DISCIPLINED, AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL. Creativity is a plus in asking people to sign. You must be a registered California voter or not on Felony parole and will register before starting to work. You do need a car for this type of work to carry table, chair, posters and extra petitions.

Seven petitions are out now. First one is to save jobs in CA by suspending AB32. The second is to stop higher taxes and taxes disguised as fees. People want to sign this one and both the jobs and tax petitions pay $1.00 per valid signature. The third is term limits on California Legislature. This pays 65 cents per valid signature. The fourth is to stop the state from "Borrowing" Permanently the city/county funds due them which curtails services locally. The fifth is to penalize State Legislature for not passing the budget on time. Those pays 70 cents per valid signature. The sixth is to add tax to tobacco to fund Cancer Research. The seventh is for fixing the Lotto so money is redirected from high administration cost to the schools. You choose which ones to carry. It pays $.70 per signature With petitions coming out weekly, you make good money because signature prices go up as more come out to encourage you to carry that petition. If you get just 5 people to sign petition two, three and four, that is $10.25 an hour. One Saturday, I worked from 11 to 3: 30 and got 105 signatures at my local grocery here in the foothills. Figuring the lower 65 cents per signature that works out to $15.17 per hour.

You are an independent contractor, so you decide when and where to work. You do need to make the meetings on Tuesdays @ 4 p.m. and I would like you to be able to gather 80 valid signatures a week. No taxes are taken out and you are responsible for them at the end of the year so you also keep your expenses like mileage, clipboards, poster board and pens. You decide when and where to work. You can work anyplace by California law that is not a membership required property. (Examples: Costco, Kaiser or Gym.)

Residential Property Inspections (Fresno and Madera Counties)

American Inspection Systems, LLC is looking for independent contractors to provide inspection services on residential real estate. We have immediate need for one individual to cover Fresno and Madera Counties, CA.

The properties to be inspected are in default by the mortgagors (owners) or have been taken back by the lender through foreclosure. Our primary focus is to determine occupancy and condition of the property. Inspectors will need to report on the type of house and if it is occupied, leave an envelope on the front door (for some inspections), and recommend maintenance if necessary. Contact with homeowners and/or tenants may be required for some inspection types. Basic knowledge of the real estate industry and construction is necessary as there will be interior/exterior and repair inspections on occasion.

Tasks
We have determined a need for one inspector, 30-40 hours per week, up to 550 inspections per month.

Almost all inspections are EXTERIOR ONLY, and take an average of 2-6 minutes. Reporting type of structure, construction, and occupancy based on critical thinking, the condition of the property and taking necessary photographic documentation. Leaving an envelope on front door is required on some inspection types.

Reporting data and sending photographs electronically through proprietary software.

Requirements

Equipment:

• First and foremost a willingness to drive and a reliable vehicle that can travel 100 miles daily. There can be no “my car needs fixed” occasions that keep you from meeting deadlines.
• Personal computer with windows operating system.
• High-speed internet connection.
• Digital camera with SD card.

Skills:

•
• Ability to use internet and online email.
• Have intermediate (not basic) PC skills.
• Ability to download and upload documents and photo files.
• Use mapping software, specifically MS Streets & Trips.
