I. JOB SUMMARY
Provide technical PC and network support to multiple districts in accordance with World Headquarters and Divisional guidelines. Serve as liaison between district associates, district management and Regional Technology Manager to identify and resolve problems.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate the setup, shutdown and support of PC hardware and software for H&R Block's field offices in compliance with instructions provided by World Headquarters.
2. Coordinate the distribution, set-up and return of rental PC's as required.
3. Maintain, troubleshoot, and support field systems in company-owned field offices by phone and with on-site visits. Conduct troubleshooting in conjunction with Call Center Support associates and Regional Technology Manager, as necessary.
4. Maintain an inventory of district equipment. Maintain hotspare tracking and control for computer equipment in the district.
5. Ensure regular communication with District Managers and Regional Technology Manager on support issues and needs.
6. Install and maintain network in company-owned field offices.
7. Document hardware problems and their resolution.
8. Assist the Regional Technology Manager with special projects, i.e. set up computers for training.



III. WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work Environment: Normal office environment.
• Special Physical Requirements: Ability to move and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Travel: Daily travel from office to office within the metro area. Must possess a valid California or Nevada license.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.

Provides first level technical production support for two mission critical, highly available transmissions applications to ensure maximum performance, availability and security.
