Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for providing inventory mgmt support to electric and gas delivery operations. Develops and maintains material master. May evaluate and process material requisitions and reservations to ensure items are properly classified and described, attributes meet corporate standards and need date is sufficient. Utilizes Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to optimize supply chain management. supply chain issues between suppliers and customer groups. Leads implementation of sourcing initiatives. Develops supplier/service network to assure adequate supply sources. Analyzes inventory and surplus/obsolete materials and takes action to minimize stocking levels. Prepares and monitors inventory forecasts. Tracks and identifies material and vendor stocking requirements. Analyzes inventory methods of control, reduction, classification, usage and other development techniques. Assists with development and implementation of warehousing strategies.

Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities and projects within or between work groups/department, on a day-to-day or long-range basis for Fossil & Hydro plant(s) in outage or non-outage situations, to ensure safe and reliable plant operations and promote maintaining the plant as a low cost producer. Apply expert knowledge of plant equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, associated requirements to review outage schedules, prepare and complete work orders and work packages, plan the work and coordinate the delivery of materials to ensure the availability of staff, proper equipment, materials and procedures to perform work. Create, update bill of materials (BOM) and task lists. Perform walk down of site to validate location of equipment or to determine obstacles that may hamper repairs or maintenance activities. Research historical files to identify analyze and address potential maintenance or repair issues. Develop, maintain, and produce short and long-range maintenance.

Engineer/Manufacturing Manager (Green Bay Area)

Position Purpose
Establish and maintain ongoing pressure vessel activity with new and existing customers as assigned. Act as pressure vessel department engineering resource. Manage shop personnel to produce quality fabrications in a safe, cost effective and timely manner.

Position Responsibilities

Shop Management Duties:
-Provide leadership and direction to the shop foreman, assistant foreman, and other shop personnel to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery for all shop fabrications.
-Insure accountability is in place and enforced for all applicable rules and regulations, including ASME code, ISO procedures, Lean processes, safety requirements, and all other work rules and customer requirements.
-Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies, make recommendations, and implement strategies for enhanced shop workflow and profitability.

Pressure Vessel Engineer Duties:
-Directly communicate with customers in the form of quotations, meetings, and presentations to understand and define their needs. Understand and respond to customer requests, both verbal and written, in a timely manner.
-Establish relationships with prospective customers and prepare quotations based on customer requirements, while maintaining ongoing relationships with current customers.
-Assist the Operations manager in coordinating all aspects of engineering work to design pressure retaining equipment for customers as needed.
-Assist drafters in developing fabrication drawings.
-Coordinate with staff to provide cost estimates, drawings, production schedules, etc. Facilitate letters of quotation and/or formal proposals for presentation to the customer.
-Oversee projects from a project management perspective from the initial sale to delivery to insure that all stages of the project progress in a timely fashion. Troubleshoot and address problems as they arise, and communicate any delays or changes to the customer. Delegate to other project managers as needed.
-Oversee the design and fabrication of projects to ensure that all applicable codes are followed and specifications are met. Handle all changes and resolve problems related to assigned projects.
-Establish and follow-through on a personal, professional development plan including participation in industry related associations.
-Maintain and support a Lean working environment.
-Other duties as assigned.

Summary of Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
-BSME (Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent, minimum of 5 years experience, 10 plus optimal.
-Interest in fabrication and design.
-Ability to understand and interpret ASME vessel and piping codes.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Computer literate.
-Physical ability to access job sites, including some climbing.
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.
-PE license and/or willingness and ability to obtain license is required
-Experience in a union environment would be a plus
-Training, Certification and/or experience in Lean Manufacturing
-Must be familiar with welding and forming techniques

PAPER MILL POSITIONS

International Management Assistance Corporation (IMAC), a leader in the crisis management and response business, is seeking qualified candidates for a variety of skilled positions with prior experience in the paper industry for a client which is anticipating a work stoppage.
These are temporary positions which require travel and the ability to be away from home for extended periods of time. IMAC pays Per Diem ($35 per day) for Food, Lodging (hotel/motel – double occupancy), Travel, and competitive wages ($18 - $23 per hour w/overtime after 40hrs - up to an 84hr work week).

The following is a list of jobs and job descriptions for the project. (Note: PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.......Please only respond if you have experience in one of the posted positions).

Paper Machine Operators - “Machine Tenders” with operations expertise of the entire "wet and dry" process, “Back Tenders” with operating expertise of either "wet or dry" process Wet End Operator - uses distributive control systems to monitor the machine from the headbox to the dryers. Responsible for monitoring pumps, flows, valves, and testing. Makes adjustments of paper, computer system monitoring (Pi), reviews trends, trouble shoots any issues, understand chemicals, make rounds, and is the hourly leader of the crew. Dry-End Operator - oversees operations from dryers to winder with understanding of steam system, watches the sheet for sheet properties and adjusts the equipment accordingly, detects defects, troubleshoots, and leads the crew. Maintains a running schedule and coordinate the winding crew. Both positions (wet end and dry end) are important to the operation of the complex.

Winder Operator – “The Winder Operator” is expected to wind as much paper as possible during his/her shift without compromising quality or safety. He/she is expected to make changes to Operating Parameters as required for production or quality issues. The Operator is expected to minimize downtime and paper losses and to account for any downtime or any tons held or rejected on his/her shift. The Operator is responsible for the start-up and the shut-down of the Winder when it becomes necessary.

Pulp Mill Operator – ‘Bleach Plant”: Responsible for all equipment in the Bleach Plant, the operation and maintenance of that equipment (housekeeping, trouble shooting, “run ability”). Responsible for all personnel in the Bleach Plant and their job performance. Knowledge of the entire process including chemicals and required documentation. Brown Stock: Responsible for all equipment in the BSW/Digester, the operation and maintenance of that equipment. Responsible for the control of critical process items such as Defoamer, Silicone Defoarmer, Kappa Number test results, Baume test on both the BHRE and the Washers. Responsible for all personnel in the BSW/Digester and their job performance.

Heavy Equipment Operator - Must have experience operating Wagner, Dozer and or Cat log loader/stacker. Looking for an operator experienced in production work with broad knowledge of machine operations; i.e. operating engineer.
