Yamaha XS650 Clean, Fast (Oshkosh) $1800

This is the famous XS650 Yamaha that everyone is trying to get. Twin cylinder, fast, easy to handle, fun to drive. This bike has all the updates done to it. 1999 Yamaha YZF 600R sportbike (Green Bay) $2800

new rear tire, 50% front.
oil change at 24,100.
50+ mpg on every tank. Usually 58mpg.

This bike is in a lower insurance bracket than other sportbikes. It's in the "sport-touring" category because in 1999 yamaha's race bike was the R6, so this was the less expensive model. I was paying $240 a year for full coverage. It is faster than a 99 R6 in the 1/4 mile because it was tuned for more torque / midrange power. Still has the R6 brakes and fully adjustable suspension. It is much more comfortable than any of the race bikes (including my '05 F4i). The seat is soft and bars are not too low. It gets 20 more mpg than them, and looks just as good. Cosmetically it has 2 cracks. I have patched one of them with a PVC bonding agent. Neither is really noticeable. It was dropped in the grass while barely moving, so there is no rash.
