Volumes 1 & 2, FIRST EDITION - SECOND PRINTING. VLADIMIR NOBOKOV-LOLITA!! Among the most sought after titles. These have not been read-spines are not cracked-no bends or tears, spots-rubs, etc. Prices have NOT BEEN MARKED OUT on these copies-they are both really in fantastic condition. Some minimal manufacturer page edge bend on vol. 2. (Seems to be manufacturing, books have hardly ever been handled.) Virtually never found in this pristine condition. Purchased from the largest French bookstore operating in New York City from the turn of the century through 1971 when they finally closed their doors. The books were carefully packed and stored away until now. The correct first edition of Nabokov's masterwork, published in Paris by the Olympia Press, which was most widely known at that time for publishing works others thought to provocative and or banned in its "Travellers Companion" series.
