Northern Dutchess County based theater and film company seeking a local Director/DP and two PAs for a short film/segment being shot Dec. 12th & 13th. The segment concept is a 'small town cop show' to be used as a promotional piece for possible development as a short film and actor portfolios; final length will be about 6-8 minutes. To be filmed at local town offices, two full days, featuring four characters (one female, three male; roles cast). Camera, lights and mics are provided. Non-paying though meals and finished DVD provided. Great opportunity for student filmmakers to get hands-on experience with a professional team. It is about the unique boarding school I attended for the four years. I have posted before and I have been very underwhelmed by the response. I need an elderly Man who would be interested in playing the headmaster of the private boarding school. This is not a paid thing, as I am a poor college student. Need Interest Actors in a hurry (Near Kingston NY!)

Hi, I'm a filmmaker and film major in college and for a class of mine I am required to produce a number of short films on a regular basis. I was just scoping the range of interest out there for people willing to act. Having acting experience is definitely a plus but there is no requirement for experience as I believe inexperienced actors can be directed into very natural performances, so a total lack of experience is no problem. I do however have a number of requirements that I am not willing to budge on. I need someone who is willing to immerse themselves for several hours into a time consuming but immensely rewarding filmmaking experience. Being a college student, I'm unable to compensate financially but promise you that taking part in this will be a very good time and hopefully we'll end up with a very nice portfolio piece for you to present in further endeavors. LIGHTING TECH NEEDED FOR BAND VIDEO (Poughkeepsie, NY)

Need a theater lighting person who is interested in assisting with a video shoot of a 7-pc. band at a state-of-the-art theater in Poughkeepsie THIS WEEKEND (NOV. 21 & 22). It's not a live shoot. It will include setting up for a couple of hours during the day on Saturday and then the actual shoot on Sunday.

Hey. I'm a Bard College student currently making my senior project film. I am looking for a gaffer. Someone who has an in depth knowledge of film lighting.

I can reimburse you for gas and pay for your lunch and or dinner etc.

This will be a fun experience. I have six "scenes" to shoot. Each should take a day or so. Thus far I have shot three, but will need to return for a re-shoot to improve the look and feel of the lighting.
