A resident of Kingston NY, I have been Principal Clarinet of the Woodstock Chamber Orchestra since 1983. I have been featured as a soloist with the orchestra several times and have extensive experience with orchestral and chamber music repertoire. My studies of the clarinet began with Joseph and Anthony Gigliotti in Philadelphia, and soon was playing with the Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra. Other teachers have included Raoul Querze, and Susan Martula. From 1965 to 1968, I attended the US Naval School of Music, was selected for the All Eastern Military Band, and was assigned to the First US Army Band. I graduated from Penn State (Main Campus) in 2006 with a BA in Spanish and International Studies. I can tudor high school students in Spanish, French, English, or for any history course. My scores on the NYS Regents exams for those subjects were above 97%. My PRAXIS 2 score for Spanish Content & Knowledge was a 168 (this is above the score required to teach at the high school level in both NY and CT).

I also helped two family members with their college applications and essays this past year (one was accepted at Cornell and the other at McGill). I would be happy to help with long essays, short answer questions, application strategy, etc.

I work full-time and am only available M-F 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM or on weekends. I can provide references from former teachers and my current employer.
