Print Production Manager/ Direct Mail (Greenwich )
Top notch agency located in Greenwich, CT (southern Fairfield Co.), seeks an experienced direct mail print buyer to provide cost effective, high quality print and lettershop solutions for our extensive clientele of non-profit charities. Seeking individual with 2+ years experience in this field. Position reports to Production Director.
The successful candidate will have a working understanding of prepress operations, as well as experience with multiple bid process for envelopes, sheet and web forms, inserts, lettershop and other products and services related to direct mail. Position requires understanding of data as well as direct mail postal requirements. Agency background helpful. Responsibilities include:
- Procure pricing (multiple bid) and printing of direct mail package components
- Participate in planning meetings on assigned DM packages and work closely with creative and account team. This includes assistance in designing to manufacturer, client, proofreading, requesting edits
- Create and manage production schedules related to art distribution, proofs, print, samples, material delivery, laser/data sign-offs, lettershop sign-offs, postage requests, mail dates, etc.
- Create and distribute purchase orders for materials and services purchased related to assigned DM packages
- Review and approve printer proofs for size, copy, stock, layout and color accuracy
- Manage production process, including print schedules, confirmation of material deliveries, receipts of postage monies and delivery of data to lettershops
- Manage lettershop process through mailing including data processing (involving file layouts/records) and working closely with lettershops to ensure on-time and accurate mailings.
- Handle basic job accounting, including payables and receivables

The Rose House is a peer operated house designed to assist fellow peers in diverting from psychiatric distress that could lead to hospitalization. Assistant Director (Orange County, NY)
Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is looking for an exceptionally committed and high-energy professional with at least five years of neighborhood-based program experience with high-needs youth and families to assume the role of Assistant Director of our Residential Alternatives Program in our Orange County office. The successful applicant will possess stellar credentials in working successfully with youth, families and communities to safely manage troubled youth in their homes with intensive case management and wrap-around support. YAP, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to strength-based, family-centered programming as a means of keeping families fully intact, and youth successful in their homes. YAP, Inc. relies heavily on the use of informal supports drawn from resources found in the home neighborhoods of client families to build a network of support for each youth and family referred. Successful applicants will be well versed in case management and neighborhood-based approaches to aiding youth and families. Starting salary is in the low 30s and will be negotiated based on experience. Benefits include health and retirement packages, paid sick and vacation time. Qualifications are a Bachelors degree in Human Services with 2-3 years experience.
