Heavy Duty Tubing Bender (stone ridge)

We are fabricating and selling this tubing bender. It is made with 5/8" thick steel. It is designed to be used with an inexpensive air over oil hydraulic jack as opposed to the hand operated model (where your shoulder hurts when you are done). heavy duty!

I set it up to use JD Squared dies. It bends round tubing from 1/2" to 2" outer diameter and square tubing from 1/2" to 1 1/2". The air over oil hydraulic jack mades it much easier to operate as long as you have compressed air in your shop. Just press the valve on your air hose and set your bender into motion...no strugglin with the rachet thing.

Things you need to bend: our bender $285, hydraulic jack $89 Harbor Freight, appropriate sized die for the bends and material you wish to work with and you need to have compressed air. It does not come with the stand. I made that for my own use.

The first photo is what you get...the others are of the unit in use here in our shop.

One is an Airlox pnumatic vice (large!! probably weighs 75 lbs) - it works very well with compressed air and would be perfect in a production environment where you need to hold lots of the same size parts fast. It has some surface rust, but will clean up nicely with steel wool. Again, it works great and the jaws are in nice condition. $20

The other is a smaller manual vice with a turn plate (either mount it with or without the turn plate). Jaws in nice condition, smooth movement, no handle included. $20
