Virutex EB-25 Edge Bander (Pine Island, NY) $2500

This is a Virutex EB-25 hot air edge bander from 1998. This machine works as it should and is being sold because we bought a new bander. It requires pre-glued edge banding tape and can band up to 2" thick using any pre-glued .018 thickness tape, including PVC, wood, veneer, melamine, and polyester. This machine is being sold with 8000' of PVC tape in 30 various colors (tape usually sells for $.10/foot). The EB-25 has a fast heat up time of about 10 minutes and a running speed of 15' per minute. It has front and rear end trimming, as well as top and bottom trimming. You can band boards as narrow as 2" and we have banded up to a full sheet (4'X8') with this machine. The EB-25 has no messy glue pot to maintain and it is very simple to operate and repair. All parts are readily available. This machine is in good useable condition. It has the expected wear of a 10 year old machine that was well maintained. In the last 2 years, the following parts were replaced: trimmer motor, heater unit, all drive belts, guide bearings, blades, and table guides. This machine is ready to run. It's a great machine for a small to mid-sized shop. It weighs 260 lbs and its measurements are 36" X 71" X 51" high. It only needs 240v single phase, no air, or dust collection. Don't let its small size fool you. We are primarily a melamine shop and this was our only bander for 10 years, and it's still got a lot of life left. This bander goes for $4000 used on a popular machinery site and it is $8000 new. Delivery is the buyer's responsibility. We have a loading dock and we can palletize for a $100 fee. Buyer makes all arrangements with shipping companies. As this is a used machine, there are no warranties expressed or implied. The bander is available for inspection, and test runs. Generac 5500XL Generator 4sale (hopewell junction) $450

Used Once for about 1 hour. (Impulse buy) Now it just takes up space in my garage and has a slow oil drip. Probably not a good idea to try and start it, but it is in like new condition, aside form the drip and some dust. I am asking $400 for it but will entertain a reasonable offer.
