First Time College Students- Do you need help? (Lansing area)
I just wanted to say that if anyone in the Lansing area needs help- assistance in college entrance applications, applying for financial aid, guidance in degree selection, spiritual and soul support, help in knowing how to go through college the first time with a family~ I am able to volunteer my time. Since the mentor programs I used to assist have been cut back by 3/4's a few years ago for the Lansing School District, I know that personable assistance is not readily available as it once was. Pel grants, entrance essays & editing, cover letters, preparing for your your first visit on campus- Times are hard and no one, regardless of who you are deserves to flounder around due to a shortage in counselors and mentors. I've been there- first person in my family with a degree. I was raised to believe that college was not an option. I've rouged corn, picked grapes, waited tables, washed dishes & polished floors till I realized I was as intelligent as others would rather not have me to believe and my experience in life was just as important. A college degree is essential for everyone, and knowing which way to go with your talents is often confusing. If you need help, just send me a message & I'd be very happy to volunteer a hand.

Selling Girl Scout Cookies! (within 15 miles of S.Lansing/Holt)

Both of my daughters are selling G.S. Cookies this year in a local troop. They have sold what they can to family, friends, and neighbors and they still haven't quite met their goals for selling. So, I am helping them out by turning to my fellow CLers. The initial sale ran until January 31st, however orders can STILL be taken until March 18th on the "GOAL GETTER" order form. Each box costs $3.50. The cookies are already in and will be delivered any time from the time of ordering up until March 18th. Money for the cookies are due at time of delivery in cash or check form. As long as you are local (work or live within 15 miles of Lansing/Holt Areas) my girls and I will deliver the cookies to you.
There are the normal cookies as usual...these include Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Lemon Chalet Cremes, Dulce De Leche, and Thank U Berry Much. We are a leadership training organization in which much of the leadership training is accomplished through planning and participating in community service and fundraising activities. Other leadership skills are learned by attending team building seminars, teaching skills to new members and serving on the Board or Directors. There is no “minimum commitment” required from our members in terms of participation. It’s like anything else, though, the more you put into it the more you get out of it.

Being that I'm engaged to a girl back from home on the other side of the state which I've only met once over Christmas, and have been dating online only just months prior to that, I understand that sometimes, things can get difficult between you and your significant other. I mean, I know she's not my wife just yet, but we're just so close, I address her as my -wife- at every availability. Trust me, it keeps the fire alive. So, if you need some relationship advice, my ears are always open, whether I'm helping fend off a gang of Mexicans or in the courthouse. As I'm also a programmer, I can also create a website for you and your significant other. Something my lovely lady did for me was put some of her DNA into a heart-shaped vial, and put that on a chain, as a necklace. It's very fetching, and non-gay. I'm not exactly sure how she got the DNA in there, nor what sort it could be.... But it's the thought that counts, right?
I thought about being the President of the United States for a while, because with my connections, I wouldn't even have to campaign. I'd just inform the electoral college that I wanted to be President, and bam. There it is. No contest. It would just happen. After all, back in Oregon, I used to smoke cigars and drink scotch with Joe Biden. (He's the current vice-President.)
But I thought of the people first, and I figure that I can help so many more people this way. Offering my many services. It's not for the money, though. At times, I've actually had to turn people away, because there was simply too much to do.

Ah, and I can help people of all descents, too. I've actually traveled to over 50% of the world. I've actually flown Concord nonstop from Oregon to Amsterdam. Ireland, Mexico.... you name it, I've probably been there. And I'm only 23. I've done more in two decades than most have done in their entire lives.
For example my friend and I once hacked into the DoD, (the Dept of Defense.) He was taken away, and forced to work for them, but I got away, with my smooth talking and silver tongue. Partly how I got my exemplary connections. I'm pretty stoked about it still.
Well, I didn't fly nonstop to Amsterdam... There was a layover in Chicago, so... yeah... But even watching the Boondock Saints once over, or hearing someone else's accent, I sometimes slip into my own Irish accent. Though I've only ever been to Ireland once, for a week. It's really rather interesting.
But in any case, I don't take shit from anyone, so don't reply if you're just going to bitch. Because I don't want to have to call my boys, and have them break your legs.

Ah, I am also looking for someone to clean my apartment. I haven't cleaned in quite some time, and I'm honestly surprised there's no cockroaches, but if you've a strong stomach, and can deal with black lining around what should be a white toilet, back hair shag, and the smell of a flesh-eating bacteria due to a lack of washing, then you're probably the girl for the job. Or man. I've no preference. Really.
