MDE Staffing Services Inc. is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to work with one of our customers located in the Laredo, Texas area for a a 3 - 4 month special project.

Selected candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics, root cause analysis and repairs on test prototype vehicles, cars and trucks that come from multiple automotive manufacturing companies.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 3-5 years of recent automotive, truck and diesel vehicle maintenance experience.

• Operational knowledge of automotive equipment and tools normally associated with the troubleshooting and repairs of gasoline and diesel automotive equipment.

• Operational knowledge of automotive electrical and air-conditioning systems is required.

• ASE certification is desired but not required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience and skills in welding and bodywork are a plus.

Station Agents promote and sell air travel with American Eagle and American Airlines, prepares itineraries, computes fares, issues refunds, prepares and issues tickets, check baggage and collects excess baggage charges in accordance with tariff rules. Agents are responsible for answering inquiries regarding general travel information. Agents perform duties in the departure lounges or at boarding gates when enplaning and deplaning passengers.

Station Agents also escort passengers from the terminal to and from aircraft ensuring a safe path at all times. Additionally, Station Agents complete all necessary arrangements for accommodating passengers with reservations, stand-bys, luggage, cabin availability and in-flight supplies. Agents will determine flight close-out times and prepares, completes and checks various flight forms for accuracy.

Station Agents perform the loading and unloading of cargo on and off aircraft, transport cargo between terminals and aircraft; physical handling of freight and company material, clean and service cabin interiors, including cockpit, lavatories and draining lavatories. Station Agents also provide guideman functions, use X-ray equipment and other safety related equipment and provides de-icing service to the aircraft when needed. We are looking for contractors that can run their own crews and have their own equipment. Applicants will be responsible for completing assigned tasks, filling out necessary property condition reports; taking digital photographs of the work and bids they are completing and maintaining an open-line of communication with our company’s headquarters regarding the status of assigned projects.

Applicants will be responsible for:
Traveling to different assigned properties throughout local counties completing assigned tasks.

As a Commercial Service Technician you will work at a Wingfoot Commercial Tire Center and be responsible for all aspects of tire and related service and repair for the commercial trucking industry including but not limited to:
- Dismount and mount any type of tire on drop center, semi-drop center and multi-piece rims.
- Determine repairable tire conditions and make such repairs.
- Remove tires for retreading or repair.
- Match mating of dual assemblies.
- Inflation of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Clean and maintain service equipment.
- Proper execution of required billing documents.
- Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle including appearance as well as on board service equipment.
The qualified individual must be willing and able to drive a service vehicle to where a customer is having a problem, and be able to repair or replace their tire(s) as needed. Job duties may be performed at the Wingfoot location, at customer locations and on service calls on the side of a highway. This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected.

This is an open-ended contract opportunity to work as a consultant to repair desktops, laptops, and printers. The Candidate will perform desktop computer “Break/Fix” support and Simple to Complex Installation, Add, or Change requirements of peripherals & Device Drivers. This is a great opportunity for the right individual.

The troubleshooting has already occurred through the Dell help desk support line. That support line has determined the problem is hardware related and ordered the components for replacement.

Your job will be to pick up the hardware and take it to the client site (home, home-based business or small business), swap the part(s) out and return the warranty part(s) to Dell.

This contract pays $27.00 per ticket within 50 miles and $35.00 per ticket from 51-75 miles, and you will be assigned an average of 4-8 tickets a day. The mileage is included in the price per ticket.

Majority of the calls will be in Laredo but will occasionally have to travel outside the area. Must be willing to get certified on Dell, IBM, Lexmark and Sony but we will cover the cost.

• Ensures all time reporting, expense reporting, and other required reports are accurate and submitted on time.

Requirements:

• At least 2/3 years hands on experience working on hardware repairs and/or upgrades on pc's, laptops and printers.
• A+ certification, Associate’s Degree in Electronics, formal PC hardware service courses, or similar military related training can replace a year of hands on experience.
• Must be comfortable swapping out motherboards (Desktop experience necessary, laptop experience desired)
• Must have experience diagnosing/troubleshooting hardware issues on pc, laptops, and printers.
• Proficiency in desktop support of Clients’ individual PCs. Minimum operating system knowledge includes: Microsoft Windows 9x, 2000 and XP
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, hubs and switches
• Support of computer networks, as directed by a Level II or III Engineer/Technician
• A+ certification is mandatory
• Dell Certification is a plus ( If you do not have one we will pay for you to get dell certified)
• Must enjoy driving, you will be driving from location to location (Field Tech)
• Must have your own tools for repairing computers that include anti-static protection and DC volt-meter
• Must have your own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to locate addresses in your immediate area
• Must dress business casual for the position. No jeans or tennis shoes.

Vending machine replenishment (Laredo)

We are looking for part-time merchandisers to participate in a program to service a high end kiosk/vending machine with cutting edge technology. These machines are state-of-the-art, and vend expensive products like MP3s, make-up, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
You would visit your assigned stores on a weekly basis to load product into the machine. Store call consists of: picking up product at pre-designated UPS center, transporting product to machine, placing product in machine, processing returns via UPS center if necessary, cleaning machine, updating signage, and changing printer paper when necessary.

This position will also have an on call tech support element to it which we call FIRST LINE SERVICE (FLS). The volume of tech support work depends on service requests from the client. Currently these additional unscheduled calls are occurring only 1-2 times per month. Tech support tasks 1st Line Service will include light technical work such as trouble shooting tech issues, maneuvering through the machine service menu and rebooting the machine when needed. An unscheduled call could also occur to pick up a rush replenishment order to load into the machine. This will require a flexible schedule during the hours of 8am - 6:30pm 7 days a week and the ability to respond to a dispatch at a moment’s notice.
