FreightManager is a third party, non asset based, full truckload, transportation broker. We are seeking individuals from all points of the country interested in selling truckload transportation services as a Home Based Independently Contracted Sales Agent (Load Coordinator).

Experience in the trucking industry is a definite plus, however not required.

A “freight broker” is a sales person first, who sells transportation services to business needing trucking services. This is predominantly a “sales” position. Many applicants to this position, want to just “find trucks” to move loads. The person that finds trucks to move loads is called a dispatcher, not a freight broker. A freight broker must be able to solicit the business of a load shipping customer before he or she will have loads to broker to trucking companies. Please be confident in your telephone sales ability when applying to this position.

Direct in person sales is generally affective, however time consuming and costly. The most effective business to business sales approach continues to be the direct cold call to the shipping manager of a particular business. FreightManager does not provide sales leads, however with a little imagination, a simple Google search will generate numerous sales leads in seconds.

We will mentor and train you in transportation sales, and account management. The training time required varies by individual, but can typically be accomplished within 3 to 5 days. Residential Door to Door Sales. The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for generating new subscribers and upgrade sales. Prepare and execute subscriber sales application, arranging for installation date, collecting and remitting revenues as prescribed.
Refine sales presentation through increased product, pricing and promotion knowledge and attend sales meetings.
Systematically review assigned territory to insure all dwelling units are contacted on a prescribed, periodic basis.
Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and services activities.
Acquire new or upgrade subscribers by direct contact.
Contact subscribers for change of service, or follow-up on installations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
1) Spend a minimum of 40 hours per week in the field during the appropriate times of the day approaching subscribers and non-subscribers for solicitation of our service. A minimum forty hour work week is required which will include attending meetings and handling administrative duties associated with the position.
2) Approach a minimum of 133 non-subscribers' homes per week contacting a minimum of 100 non-subscribers per week.
3) Utilize customer contact and sales skills taught through employee training
4) Utilizing the above skills and activities, produce the minimum standard of sales, upgrades, conversions, install, as mandated by the Sales manager from the assigned territories.
5) Report daily results to Sales Supervisor.
6) Turn in all subscribers' moneys (cash, check, money orders, etc. ) the following business day.
7) Provide address correction information to appropriate department.

Required Skills:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

This is an open-ended contract opportunity to work as a consultant to repair desktops, laptops, and printers. The Candidate will perform desktop computer “Break/Fix” support and Simple to Complex Installation, Add, or Change requirements of peripherals & Device Drivers. The troubleshooting has already occurred through the Dell help desk support line. That support line has determined the problem is hardware related and ordered the components for replacement.

Your job will be to pick up the hardware and take it to the client site (home, home-based business or small business), swap the part(s) out and return the warranty part(s) to Dell.

This contract pays $25.75 per ticket within 50 miles and $33.00 per ticket from 51-75 miles, and you will be assigned an average of 3-4 tickets a day. The mileage and cell usage is included in the price per ticket.
