Painter/ Finisher/ Laminate installer (Mall Del Norte)

I need a painter/carpenter/tile installer/finisher for approx. 20 hours of work Friday and Saturday nights.
Painters must have retail painting experience with an eye for detail.
Finishers must be able to provide a level five finish and repair holes in sheetrock.
Tile installers must be able to install marble.
Also need a vinyl tile installer to replace 25sf of vinyl tile
In need of 4-6 skilled painters, 1 tile installer, 1 finisher, and 1 laborer
Must have own tools and transportation.
Experience with porcelain and vinyl tile a must.
English or Spanish.

Locaters are responsible for the accurate and safe identification and marking of underground utilities. Properly marking location, photographing site and completing necessary paperwork are essential. Locaters are responsible for a company truck, laptop computer, cell phone, gas card and technical equipment.

While these are daytime positions, working overtime and on an on-call rotation (24 hours per day, 7 days per week) is required.


Qualifications

Previous experience working outdoors preferred.
Must be able to read a map and use a computer.
Possess a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen


Physical Demands

Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit
Must be capable to utilize full movement of arms to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch
Must be able to lift and/or move manhole covers or similar items up to 50lbs
Must be able to distinguish colors used to mark underground facility including using close-up and distance vision

Diesel Mechanic (Laredo)

AUTOMOTIVE DIESEL MECHANIC

MDE Staffing Services Inc. is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to work with one of our customers located in the Laredo, Texas area for a a 3 - 4 month special project.

Selected candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics, root cause analysis and repairs on test prototype vehicles, cars and trucks that come from multiple automotive manufacturing companies.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 3-5 years of recent automotive, truck and diesel vehicle maintenance experience.

• Operational knowledge of automotive equipment and tools normally associated with the troubleshooting and repairs of gasoline and diesel automotive equipment.

• Operational knowledge of automotive electrical and air-conditioning systems is required.

• ASE certification is desired but not required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience and skills in welding and bodywork are a plus.

Required Education:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
