Agile Team Lead

Job Title: Agile Team Lead
Location: Open to relocation to Mexico City, Mexico (for 1 year)
Salary: 80-100K

Description:
Seeking Agile Team Lead to Optimize the Flow of Business Value and improve team functioning in technical, interpersonal, process, practice, attitude, and morale. The Agile Team Lead can trace all improvements back to how well the team delivers ROI and reduces code asset TCO, and back to how delighted the customer and team both are. The Agile Team Lead is in the business of knocking the customer’s socks off, over and over again.

Four Main Tools
The Agile Team Lead optimizes business value flow mainly with four varieties of tactic:

Continuous Team Building — this includes all of the soft, fuzzy means Spann lists, whose ends are team cohesion, high ambient trust, high ambient respect, high morale, good humor, equanimity, close interpersonal connection.

Continuous Planning — of the agile practices and patterns around eliciting, analyzing, scoping, dividing, prioritizing, iterating, planning, testing, tracking, publishing, and delivering. The Agile Team Lead does not perform all of these practices solo, but leads their performance. This is how the Agile Team Lead is held to account by all managers and stakeholders outside the team. This is the outward link from the team to the world.

Continuous Unblocking — teams continuously need outside help, resources, more team members, fewer team members, and other emergent support that they, as a team, lack the authority to achieve. The Agile Team Lead does the heavy corporate lifting to get these deals swung, to keep the team in steady flow. This is the link from the outside world back to the team.

Continuous Improvement — The Agile Team Lead guides, without pushing, the zillion varieties of retrospective improvements that the team does own the authority to make. This does include holding the team accountable for owning the ever-changing lists of things to be improved, and concrete improvement proposals and plans.

Guiding Principle: Servant Leadership
The leaders most admired in the agile community and software community, as in the world at large, are those who lead by giving and supporting. This is classically the root cause of a graduation from “good” to “great.” The Servant Leader attaches identity to the team’s abilities and accomplishments, not just to his or her own. An Agile Team Lead must earn the team’s consent to be lead.

Agile Development Manager

Job Title: Agile Development Manager
Location: Open to relocat to Mexico City, Mexico for 1 year
Type: Perm
Salary: 85-110K+

Description:
This position reports directly to company CEO. In this position you will:

- Lead multiple teams of Java developers and other disciplines in an open, advanced Agile, startup environment.
- Work with project manager (ScrumMaster) and senior management on project planning to ensure a successful product launch.
- Learn the organization´s existing codebase, requirements, and practices in order to earn authority and address issues in an informed fashion.
- Learn and contribute to the organization’s quality engineering strategy.
- Predict and address technical obstacles and architectural risks to project.
I- dentify, contract, and liaise with external consulting expertise as required for successful product launch and version release projects.
- Represent the technical side of the operation in meetings with current and potential investors.
- Work with HR and Recruiting personnel to advance technical team member recruiting and retention processes and practices.
- Motivate and inspire dev team members to achieve their greatest performance.
- Create and implement performance appraisal mechanisms in conjunction with HR in order to fairly evaluate technical resources and create effective incentive programs.
- Communicate openly and directly with dev and other teams, PM, and senior management at all times to eliminate risk, politics, and any other negative elements in the environment and culture.

Reports:
16+ Senior and other level Java developers initially will directly report to this position, and growing to include other technical disciplines (database architects/admins, network architects/admins, IT), and creative (graphic design) personnel

Level of people with whom this person will have dealings:
a) Internally: All levels of organization
b) Externally: Consultants, vendors, investors

Requirements:
- Requisite technical background and skills
- Extensive Agile experience and knowledge
- Adaptability
- Communication
- Strong leadership in a progressive, flat, “earned leadership” environment (i.e., leadership by influence rather than authority, by the merit of one´s ideas)
- Startup experience

Desired but not required:
Java certification
Agile certification (PO or SM)
Specific domain experience (P2P, entertainment-industry)
Product launch experience
VC and/or IPO experience

Experience required in order of importance:
Recent, advanced core Java and related technologies.
Management experience.
Agile experience.
Track record of tackling complex game-changing technical goals successfully.
Advanced code line management experience and skills including branching and merging.
Database architecture and admin.
Network architecture and admin.

Education
Undergraduate Degree Required: BA in CS or related
Masters Desired: CS, Mgmt, related

Additional Requirements:
Open to relocation at Mexico city for 1 year.
Speak and understand 40% Spanish
Have the CSM (Certified Scrum Master)
Management skills (The dev team needs to feel they can rely on this person)
60% Tech skills and 40% Management and Agile skills.

Traffic clerk (Laredo, TX)

Candidates must have the following requirements:
-2 yrs of experience as a traffic clerk for southbound
-Must have knowledge of Slam, SAAIM3 and Office programs and must be accurate and type fast (above 40wpm)
-Bilingual its a must
-Pay rate will depend on experience starting at $10.00 p/hr -which will increase after 3 months
-Must have flexible schedul
