The Dead Book-Hank Harrison w/ Neal Cassady acetate (entire area) $100

This book is a hard to find gem by a childhood friend of Phil Lesh (and harrison is also Courtney Love's father)
-1973 paperback-full of personal pics and info not found in any other writers books about the Grateful Dead.
But the real treasure is a pristine copy (only included in some editions) of 'Neal Cassady Raps'-The inimitable Beat legend 'performing' at the grand opening of the Straight Theatre in 1967 while the Dead play behind him. Soon after, Neal went to Mexico never to return.
Book is first printing- has some water damage marring front cover-but otherwise fine shape.
Order this week and I'll throw in a copy of Hank's 1980 book 'The Dead; better known but still fairly rare and fun.
Again, a first printing paperback w/ some water damage.
This usually goes for around $10 or more on it's own.

Just a great little classic.

IMPORTANT info if your buying college textbooks! (EVERYWHERE VEGAS)

If you are looking to buy textbooks at either UNLV or CSN obviously don't buy them from the college bookstore (they're a total rip).
One of my cousins spent almost $900 on textbooks!
The crazy thing is that you don't need some books for the class!
One of my teachers, I'm 1st year btw, gives such crazy good notes the books not really needed.
But the best thig to do is by the earlier editions online, or go to the used bookstores (that's where all the old books get doated to anyway).
And the only diff. between, let's say, edition 6&7 is the layout! Believe me I've done the comparison. For most of the books you even see the same pics.
Buty if you are going to buy from the college bookstore have them put on hold first, you might find a better deal later (and your not allowed to return them uless you've proven that you have transfered out of the class).
