In case this hasn't been mentioned, here is an easy way to get rid of spam without worrying about deleting legitimate emails.
Spammers rarely, if ever, read the posts, it's done with software that runs through all the posts and sends everyone the same crap.
So in your post, require some word or phrase be put in the subject line, something totally unrelated to the ad. For example: If I'm
selling a guitar and amp and I get spammed, in my inbox I see "Re: Guitar and Amp" and maybe the location I'm selling from. So in my post
I say, "Please put the words:'music rocks', or 'instruments', or 'boogity boo', whatever, in the subject line.
Now when checking my email, If I see anything
with "Guitar and Amp', it's obvious they didn't read my instructions, so I can delete it without having to open it. I've been using this little 'trick'
if you will, and it's a great time saver, and I've never missed a real email. Hope this helps, we need to put spammers out of business for good.
