A church in downtown allentown is incorporating Jesus Christ Superstar into the Palm Sunday, and Good Friday services. It's the first time we've done something like this, so it's nothing too fancy, but we have a good group of singers and you'll probably have a lot of fun. Drummer needed for Reggae band (with some funk). Right now there are just two of us, myself on guitar and vocals, and the other guy on bass. We have five songs recorded with full instrumentation played by us. We can not, however, play out with this configuration. What we are looking for is a drummer who knows about the 3, and also about the 1. Think The Wailers meet P-Funk. We have a good rehearsal/recording space in Kutztown, PA. I also would be all for a metal band but it seems like most metal players are not really open minded around here and i would want it to be something that isnt all about the drums and always the same key every song. I have a very legato like style when it comes to metal. When i play funk and things of that sort i play alot of 16th notes. Open Jam Night - Every Thursday (The Wardell Pub (Phillipsburg, NJ))

The Wardell Pub is holding Open Jam / Open Mic every Thursday night from 8 - 11pm and the turnout is increasing in leaps and bounds!. All backline equipment (Drums, amps, PA) is provided - just bring your instrument, your drum sticks, or your voice and sit in.
