A review of the 1968 season with stats, preview of the 1969 season, in depth analysis of each ML team, predicted order of finish for each team in each division in each league, in depth review of each team's Minor League System 1969 was the first year of Division Play in the AL and NL, the first year of 12-team leagues, the first year of the Kansas City Royals, Seattle Pilots (now the Milwaukee Brewers), Montreal Expos (now the Washington Nationals) and the San Diego Padres.

1969 was the year the NY Mets won their first NL pennant and World Series. This yearbook picked the Mets to finish last behind the expansion Expos in the NL East.

Recap of the 1968 World Series, the last World Series before Divisional Play and the League Championship Series with box scores and game-by-game synopsis. The Detroit Tigers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4 games to 3 in a Mickey Lolich dominated World Series.

1970 was the 1st year for the Milwaukee Brewers who were relocated from Seattle during Spring Training.

1970 was the 2nd year of Divisional Play with the Pittsburgh Pirates winning the NL East, the Cincinnati Reds winning the NL West, the Baltimore Orioles winning their 2nd consecutive AL East title and the Minnesota Twins winning their 2nd consecutive AL West title.

Cincinnati would beat Pittsburgh for the NL Pennant while Baltimore would beat Minnesota for the 2nd consecutive year to win the AL Pennant.

Recap of the 1969 Post Season and World Series, with box scores and game-by-game synopsis. The NY Mets beat the Baltimore Orioles 4 games to 1 in the Mets 1st World Series which was dominated by Donn Clendenon's 3 Home Runs in 5 games.

1972 was the last year in San Francisco for Willie Mays who was traded to the NY Mets in May.

The Pittsburgh Pirates won their 3rd consecutive NL East title, the Cincinnati Reds won their 3rd consecutive NL West title and beat the Pirates for the 2nd time in 3 years to win the NL Pennant.

The Detroit Tigers won the AL East for their first time losing the AL Pennant to the Oakland Athletics who won their 2nd consecutive AL West title.
