The Jurassic Garden at A & A Cycads is a wholesale and retail nursery specializing in cycads -- rare, endangered, palm-like plants that date back to the Jurassic period. We have 2 acres of growing grounds and greenhouses in North Hollywood, approximately 1 mile west of the Burbank Airport.

POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

1. Housekeeper/Assistant/Nanny
This position requires strong house management skills. The Housekeeper will provide regular and occasional deep cleaning and help coordinate the activities of contractors, gardeners and other property maintenance workers. The candidate must be fluent in English (reading and writing). Prior child care experience and strong organizational skills are required. The Housekeeper/Assistant/Nanny will work a total of 26-7 hours in exchange for the residence. Hours will be divided into 2-day shifts and 2 evenings. Specific duties include:
-Housekeeping: Dusting (some on a step ladder); Floors (wood and marble); Bathrooms; Kitchen (cleaning refrigerator and top of cabinets); Outdoor patio furniture; Laundry (including baby diapers); and, Watering indoor plants.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Director / Manager / Supervisor, the Maintenance I shall:

2) Assure that planters, parking lots and all exterior perimeter areas are free of trash;

Conventional Machinist (Wilmington)

We are a small fabrication/machine/repair shop in Wilmington looking to hire a conventional machinist.

Requirements:
-7 years experience minimum, 10+ years preferred.
-Must be able to set up and run mills, lathes, presses, etc on your own.
-Must know how to operate all general shop tools to include power tools, hand tools, etc
-Must have valid driver's license
-Must have, or have the ability to get, a TWIC card
-Ability to interpret what the customer wants from a drawing and/or talking with them.

The items we do are one-off, no mass production. Examples of these are: tapering shafts, threading bolts to customer specs., machining various pump parts. Must have a wide range of skills.

We need someone who is a self starter, can work independent or in a team. Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
