Taylor 414 Grand Auditorium Size Acoustic Guitar:
The Taylor Grand Auditorium combines the width and depth of a Dreadnought with a narrower waist. Its sleek design yields a strong treble zing across the tonal spectrum and sharpens the definition of individual notes. The Grand Auditorium is a strong fingerpicking guitar that also adapts well to medium strumming

The Taylor 414's neck is made of mahogany, and the headstock overly is made of rosewood. The top is solid spruce, and the fingerboard is ebony, as is the case with all Taylor guitars. Neck width is 1 3/4 inches at the nut, and scale length is 25 1/2". Internal bracing is scalloped (shaven), but the guitar still feels fairly heavy and very well put together. The top is finished gloss; the rest of the guitar is finished matte. The tuners are of high quality, and chrome plated.

The 414's back and sides are made of ovangkol, an exotic African hardwood said to produce a warm and deep sound. The ovangkol gives the 414 a striking appearance. It is less dark (at least as finished on the 414) than mahogany or rosewood, with more light cocoa hues and less red. The grain of the ovangkol is something to behold. Especially on the back of the guitar, there are complex patterns and stark contrasts in color. Really beautiful.

Fender Stratocaster (Lynchburg) $350

For sale is a pair of Latin Percussion Aspire Fiberglass Congas. They give a bright rich tone and easily cut through the mix. Studio Condenser Mic (Lynchburg)

This Marshal Electronics MXL 2003 Studio Cardoid Condenser Microphone is the best investment I ever made for my home studio! Its just about perfect for any studio and many live applications. All of the rest of my studio is gone, so I no longer have use for this mic. Its a very useful addition to any home or professional studio. When I first bought the mic, a clumsy singer knocked over the boom stand it was attached to, and as a result, there is a slight dent in the grill. I used it for a solid year after this incident and have never had any problems with the quality of its recordings! Other than that one cosmetic flaw, the mic is in perfect working condition. I will include an MXL-56 high-isolation shockmount, leather carrying pouch, and foam lined original box in the sale. Here are the official specs for the MXL 2003:

Chime Tree (Lynchburg)

These chimes were handcrafted in the USA. They're made by a small company in Nasheville TN called "Treeworks." This set has 23 polished, tempered 3/8" thick solid aluminum/titanium alloy bars hand-tied with braided CordLoc to a hand-finished mantle made of Tennessee black walnut wood. Shockmount for drum (Lynchburg)

I have a set of 4 CAD DSM-1 drum microphone shock mounts. The lever in the back tightens the hook around a lug to securely attach these mounts to any drum. These mounts are heavy duty and are sure to last a lifetime! They're easily adjustable. They have been used a total of 3 times and are in perfect condition. Pearl Drums (Bedford) $850

Selling my Pearl kit to fund a new one. The kit is an EXR which is no longer made and is rare to find now. The color is prizm purple which looks brown until light hits it then the purple flakes really show. Drums feature poplar shells made with Pearl's heat compression system which is used on all of their drums. Sizes are 2 22" kicks, 10,13,14,16 toms. All mounts, tom arms, and floor tom legs are included, as well as one single kick pedal. Heads are in good shape. All toms have Evans G1's on them except the 13 which has a Ludwig Rocker. One kick has the stock head, the other has an Evans EMAD. All rezos are stock. Bearing edges are in good shape, and there is some minor checking on the floor tom batter side hoop, as well as some wear where the pedal attaches on the kick hoop. Overall a great set which has only seen a few shows and outside of that has been used primarily for recording. I will also sell along with it a Pearl 10" firecracker snare for $80 more, but no other hardware or cymbals are included. NO TRADES! Pictures upon request.

These practice pads imitate your real drumkit but don't make near as much noise so you can practice anytime night or day without worrying about the neighbors calling the cops or having you evicted! This setup includes Two 10 inch pads for floor tom and snaredrum, two 8 inch pads for rack tom and cymbal, a mounted kickdrum pad, and a stand alone 8 inch pad for hihat. Full Size 4/4 Violin Outfit (Lynchburg) $200

I am selling a full sized 4/4 violin, complete with hard, plushed lined case with shoulder straps, bow and rosin. This is a beginer violin outfit that I bought brandnew, and have taken very good care of. The violin is in near perfect shape with just a slight, un-noticible scuff near the chin rest, also the D string fine tuner dosn't turn too far (this happened the first week I got it, 6 years ago, I think it is stripped). I would recoment a new bridge, D string fine tuner and strings (this shouldn't cost more than $40). The violin is in excellent playing shape, though. It was worth about $600 when it was new, and I have been told it could sell for that now. I am selling it for $200, or best offer. Thank you for looking!
