Position Description
Depending on your level of experience and product knowledge, your first 1 to 6 months of employment will entail product and application specific training performed both in-house and at our manufacturers' facilities. You will travel to facilities such as Masoneilan and Foxboro, to receive product specific training. During this training period will learn software to properly size and select equipment and may perform as an in-house sales representative in our Towson, MD or Edgemont PA office as well as occasionally accompanying our sales managers and senior sales specialists to observe and support as they call on customers.
Once trained, you will call on all customers including, but not limited to all plants, OEM's, and engineering firms in our Virginia territory for the specific purpose of promoting and selling the products, services, and application solutions represented by Eastern Controls, Inc.
Working from your home and at times utilizing the ECI Towson, Md., office as a home base, you will report to the sales manager of Eastern Controls, Inc.
Compensation
Base Salary: $60-70K with additional bonus opportunities up to 50% of base salary possible during first 2 years depending on product and application training progress, account penetration, and overall work ethic.
Eligible for commissions after beginning of 3rd year. Commissions will enable the successful and aggressive sales specialist to realistically achieve well over $100K in annual compensation.
Company Vehicle Plan, Laptop Computer, Cell Phone / PDA, and necessary sales tools will be supplied by Eastern Controls, Inc. Furthermore, a 401K plan with match, profit sharing, health insurance, expense reimbursement, and other competitive benefits are standard.
Requirements
Sales personality and drive a must (strong written and oral communication skills, strong product demonstration skills, self-starting, resourcefulness, aggressiveness, strong problem solving skills).
Instrumentation and control application experience is preferred.
Should possess a solid understanding of, and experience in, power generation facilities and processes.

Sales representatives actively work with our local and regional support teams as well as our corporate home office to generate financial solutions to help clients meet their personal or business goals. Account Executives in the Sales Development Program will be provided field support from our Roanoke, Lynchburg or Martinsville offices. We offer an extremely attractive commission pay plan as well as flexibility in work schedule and territories.
Responsibilities:
• Effectively and efficiently respond to client needs.
• Offer up fresh ideas/solutions that contribute to the client's business success.
• Develop effective and mutually profitable business and individual client relationships.
• Ensure the client's business is always strategically and creatively represented in a compelling way.
• Effectively lead clients to innovative and strategic solutions.
• Collaborate in the creative process and develop strong, positive, working relationships with the local and regional sales teams.
• Must attend and participate in weekly team and month sales training meetings.

Full training provided. Will work with a field trainer for first 1-2 weeks, upon successful completion of our 2-day orientation and training course. Extremely generous compensation plan. Commissions and promotions commiserate with personal production. Training positions and management opportunities with executive pay bonuses are available for top performers and those with advanced sales or professional backgrounds. Our next regional 2-day orientation and training for new candidates will be on Nov 6th & 7th (mandatory for all new field representatives).

Alert Media is looking for sales people and one regional sales manager to cover the Lynchburg area. These are independent contractor commission positions. Part or full time. Serious sales professionals can expect to earn upwards of $60k in the first year and a regional sales manager $120k first year. We sell the leading Child Safety and Parental Preparedness program to schools, churches, civic organizations and to individuals through face to face presentations that take about 5 minutes. Renewal commissions are paid on every annual renewal, whether you personally renew the customer or the customer self renews using our online renewal program. There is no cap on earnings.
