14' StarCraft Aluminum w/45hp (North Waterboro) $600

1972ish StarCraft Aluminum 14' boat. Comes with running 45hp Chrysler outboard with controls and trailer. Trailer is homemade but works well. Have had the boat for two years and tow it to Burnham 6 or 7 times a year. I have replaced the floor in the boat with 3/4 pressure treated plywood, new mold resistant carpet and two new cabellas seats last year. Motor has new head gasket and new gear in lower end. It is an older boat and shows a little bit of age but all and all good shape. Previous owner paineted gray. Goes good and is a great little fishing boat or would make a good camp boat. Thanks for your interest. I have listed all I can think of below, I’d be glad to show it to you if you are interested.

It has full interior in good shape, upholstery is faded due to sun and may have slight cracks in places. Also has a Biminis top and a 2 year old full length trailer cover. Swim platform at stern with ladder makes for easy access to water.

Trailer is in good working order and the right size for this boat (not a roller type).

The boat has been stored indoors for the last four winters. I used it for two seasons, then bought a larger boat last summer. The last time the Bayliner was run and put in the water was the summer of 2008. At the end of the ’08 season I had it professionally winterized. I plan to have it taken out of storage as soon as I can make arrangements, perhaps as early as Sunday (3/20) but I have to wait for the storage facility to move some items out of the way.

I have put approximately 100 hours on the engine in Casco Bay, prior to that it was used in salt water out of state so I don’t know the total hours. It ran fine, the only problems I had were the battery (replaced new 2 years ago) and the prop which was also replaced. Port side exhaust cover is also cracked, I never bothered to replace it.

As soon as I can get it out of storage I will let you know.
