These are edited and written by Christine Herrick and Marion Harland. They have some photographic illustrations and are in very good condition. They were intended for upscale hostesses of the day and possibly high-end Culinary Schools. The first book begins with "A Formal Hotel Dinner As Illustrated By OSCAR OF THE WALDORF," and shows and describes a ten course dinner. Contents of the fifth volume include a chapter on toasts (with examples) and speech making; equivalence tables with names of foods in English, French, German, and Spanish; a glossary; and an index.

Complete Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. First two are paperback (Twilight is movie cover, New moon is larger text) and the last 2 (Eclipse & Breaking Dawn) are both hardcover. All are in excellent condition (no rips, tears, bent pages, etc). Wanted: History of Augusta (have wanted a copy since I was a kid!) (Vermont) $1

Would like to buy The History of Augusta from the Earliest Settlement to the Present Time by James W. North, 1870. I don't want the reprint. I'll pay a reasonable price for this book and will send a U.S. Postal Money Order (these can be checked against a list at your post office to make sure they are "real"). If you are close to Augusta or Portland I can have a friend pick it up and pay cash. Have wanted one since I was a kid. Do you have one? It doesn't need to be in tip top shape ... just readable.
