LARGE ORANGE W/ WHITE CAT STILL MISSING (Portland, East Deering to Northgate)

Otto is still missing and may have been sighted in the area off Ray Street or in back of Shaw's Northgate. He's a large, very shy 13-year-old orange male tabby cat with white markings, including a distinguished thin white moustache beside white nose and a white right hind leg. Black collar with tags may have come off in his travels. Please do not try to catch him, he'll just run away, but let me know if you think you've seen him anytime since Feb 10 when he went missing. Thanks for your help.

Black Laptop, bad juju (Portland)

I had two white cats cross my path today, and by that I mean, I picked up some bad juju today.

They had a black laptop which they said was theirs, that they needed to sell at a pawn shop for diapers. (yeah, seriously, diapers...)

Anyway, I fronted my ID for them, as neither guy had one. I'd never met these guys before...
Did I guess something funny was going on? Yeah. But I was curious, so-

I highly suspect that the laptop I helped them hock was stolen. It was black, looked pretty new. Contact me with the password or the serial code and I will
help you get it back.

I'm sorry if I contributed to the theft of your laptop. At least you're probably more likely to get it back from the pawn shop than from a junkies wandering backpack.

It's about $200 from the pawn shop. It's on hold for 30 days before it goes on sale publicly. Only I can get it released for the next 30 days, since they used my id.

She has Extra toes on all four paws. She also has very pretty Gold eyes.
She has Medium to longish hair. She is very Friendly, and was raised indoors from kitten-hood.
Maggie has a very unique and special habit She 'nurses' on her own paw as in sucks her paw
Sadly it appears Maggie found an opportunity to explore when the apartment door was a-jar.
She has been Missing since noon-time on 3/8/2010.

MISSING ORANGE CAT - UPDATE (EAST DEERING TO NORTHGATE AREA)

Otto is still missing from the Rainbow Mall (East Deering) area and is now thought to have traveled as far away as the area behind Shaw's at North Gate or possibly around Ray Street on the other side of Allen Ave. He's a large, very shy orange male (neutered) tabby cat with white markings, including a right hind leg that is almost entirely white. His black collar with tags may have come off. He's afraid of most people and will probably run away if called. Please let me know if you think you've seen him within the last 5 weeks. Found one black dog off of Hammond Street in Bangor. Medium sized, appears to be a lab mix. All black with white on his paws and chest. Very good dog. He minds very well and is very good with our female dalmation mix. He has been fixed.

He went missing Saturday, March 6, which is the DAY we adopted him from Cocheco Valley Humane Society. So the dog had only been with us for two hours, so he is very scared and confused and has no idea where he is. Even though he has had the name "Patches" since he was a puppy, he doesn't seem to respond to it and we think he might be deaf. He is a sweet dog -- likes humans and dogs. WE FOUND Bear Cat (Saco)

We were missing our kitty for a just about a week total. Thought that maybe she was gone. Until Today! Yay. We did our standards by posting signs, and posting an ad here, contacting our area animal control officer andfiling a missing pet report with the local shelter. Received a call today that she was safe at the Shelter and She is just how she was when she went missing.

Due to someones call to animal control and his transfer to the shelter, Bear is healthy and found. We had a gentleman call us within a few minutes of posting this ad with a website with some great tips on assisting in the process of locating a missing Pet. I don't remember your name but THANK YOU just the same. http://www.missingpetpartnership.org. they don't have any Maine aides but offer great advice.

All I can say, is don't loose hope and keep checking with the shelter's and animal control.
Also, have to pay gratitude to the Kennebunk Animal shelter for taking care of her.

Lost/Stolen Blue 08 Yamaha Big Bear (Sanford)

This post was designed so that it may come to someones attention that my 14 year old stepsons four wheeler was stolen in SANFORD from his fathers residence on TERRY DRIVE in Sanford around Feb 22 or 23. He had a '08 YAMAHA BIG BEAR 250 and it's BLUE. The right rear fender has a crack in it. It also had 3 bungee cords on the back rack at the time of the theft. Please if anyone knows the whereabouts of this machine or has ANY INFO, would greatly be appreciated. This ad may also draw the attention of the person(s) responsible for stealing it so they can know that you have stolen the four wheeler from a boy that has a rare birth defect that impairs his ability to use his hands the way most of us can. He's had a hard life since birth and has undergone multiple surgeries before he was even a year old. He lives for four wheelers and cars and this four wheeler was one of the few enjoyments he has in life. The people that stole it can feel no better than someone who robs old ladies or beats up defenseless animals because that's what it's like to be defenseless against someone who sneaks around in peoples yards taking away what people have earned in life. Maybe they could simply return it and avoid being a useless theif and an ass. If anyone knows anything about this, or has seen anything please respond to this post. I'm not looking to have people punished, even though they might deserve it, I would just like the four wheeler returned to the boy. Even if it's anonymously returned. Thanks.

I found some pretty fancy sunglasses on my walk to work this morning (Saturday, Feb 21st around 11 am) on the top of Fore Street on Munjoy Hill.
If you lost your sunglasses today & think you might have lost them around that area send me an e-mail with a description of the sunglasses (brand, color, anything special, etc).

Don't really know where to post this. I have a painting done by Isobel(?) Mc Iver. Her brother Gavin(?) was engaged to my husband's grandmother during WWI, but, unfortunately, he was killed in action. If there is someone fron the family that would like the painting, I would be happy to give it to them. Maybe I am mistaken that they are from Bowdinham.

Missing Cat - update from Feb 12 (Ledgewood condos, Portland)

Otto is still missing from the Rainbow Mall Rd/Pheasant Hill Rd area off Washington Ave. He's a 16 pound mostly orange neutered male cat, with white nose and moustache, vest, underside, and one leg that's mostly white. Has a black collar that may have come off. He's afraid of most people and will probably run away if called. Please check under porches and decks, and inside garages, and let me know of any sightings (dead or alive).

I've lost my black cap! Munjoy Hill (Munjoy Hill/West End)

I've lost my hat. I have a sentimental attachment to the hat.
It is a black cap in the style of the simple 'baseball hat,' however it is line with black fabric and has a folding flap to cover the ears.

Details: Lilly: Small female Siberian Husky, white with grey and a tinge of brown. (38 lbs. approximately knee high), blue eyes. Has a Jeff Gordon collar with rabies tag and name tag and a black harness (if she still has them on). She is shy with people, loved and missed.

Set of Keys Ford Keys (Eddington)

I'm looking for a set of Keys lost possibly in the Bangor area. They were Ford f150 keys and there were two black keys and a push button key chain. One of the keys had a bit of a chunk taken out of the side of the black part and also there was a small piece of scotch tape on one of them.

Lost Golden Retriever- Reward (River Rd in Richmond)

My husband, John , was bringing our golden retriever, Maggie, back to At Home Vet on Rte 126 in Gardiner to have stitches removed from a previous surgery on her right eye. When getting out of the car, Maggie got scared and bolted. John chased after her but couldn't catch her. That was on Jan 21 and we've been searching ever since. We gave out flyers, called the Gardiner police, animal control, vets and animal shelters. We've knocked on doors and have reached out to as many people that we can. She was last spotted on Feb 17th on the River Rd in Richmond. She was by the tressel and railroad tracks. Please help us bring our Maggie home. We love and miss her.
