Anyone know why this place advertises for Loss Prevention every 4 or 5 months?
I have seen the Loss Prevention Manager job at least 3 times in the last year and now the latest one below..

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Assist Store Supervisory Staff in establishing high level of Customer Service, awareness and asset protection. Assist in controlling Front End operations through hands-on interaction with Customers and Associates. Be trained on all policy/procedures relating to the operation of the Front End, Customer Service, and theft deterrence. Wear a specifically designed vest.
This position is a Customer Service and shrink deterrent position, not a position that would detain a Customer or an Associate. Suspicions of integrity or theft issues will be reported to Store Management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assist Supervisory Staff in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for our Associates and Customers.
• Assist Front End personnel in greeting and answering questions for our Customers.
• Provide Front End presence by maintaining a professional image and fostering good community relations.
• Monitor entrances/exits for potential shrink issues by identifying individuals exhibiting suspicious behavior (for example, carrying oversized bags, unseasonable clothing, grab and runs).
• Assist Store Management in the collection of information pertaining to grab and runs.
• Monitor for proper compliance with Code 50 policy.
• Ensure proper checkout procedures for Customers and Associates.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS:
• High school education or equivalent – required
• One year retail Supervisor experience or like training – preferred
• One year Loss Prevention/security training – preferred
