Anyone know why this place advertises for Loss Prevention every 4 or 5 months?
I have seen the Loss Prevention Manager job at least 3 times in the last year and now the latest one below..

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Assist Store Supervisory Staff in establishing high level of Customer Service, awareness and asset protection. Assist in controlling Front End operations through hands-on interaction with Customers and Associates. Be trained on all policy/procedures relating to the operation of the Front End, Customer Service, and theft deterrence. Wear a specifically designed vest.
This position is a Customer Service and shrink deterrent position, not a position that would detain a Customer or an Associate. Suspicions of integrity or theft issues will be reported to Store Management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist Supervisory Staff in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for our Associates and Customers.
Assist Front End personnel in greeting and answering questions for our Customers.
Provide Front End presence by maintaining a professional image and fostering good community relations.
Monitor entrances/exits for potential shrink issues by identifying individuals exhibiting suspicious behavior (for example, carrying oversized bags, unseasonable clothing, grab and runs).
Assist Store Management in the collection of information pertaining to grab and runs.
Monitor for proper compliance with Code 50 policy.
Ensure proper checkout procedures for Customers and Associates.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS:
High school education or equivalent required
One year retail Supervisor experience or like training preferred
One year Loss Prevention/security training preferred
