Part Time Computer Tech / Network Admin (Myrtle Beach SC)

We are in immediate need of a Part-Time Tech that has MOSTLY Network experience. The ideal client will have experience working with Windows Server 2000, and 2003. He must possess the ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot existing network issues and communicate to the client the solution.

He must possess the knowledge to setup VPN connections, Remote Desktop Connections and understand Port Forwarding, etc.

Also, the ideal candidate should be able to effectively troubleshoot computers that needs to be repaired and make the repairs efficiently.

The ideal client MUST be able to communicate effectively and present himself in a professional manner to the client. He must be accountable, trustworthy, and an honest individual.

This is a part-time job that will lead to a full-time position we believe after the first of 2010. The hours will be in the mornings, from around 9-1pm.

in Myrtle Beach

One electronic (TV) repair technician.
Proficient in television repair.

Can work with little supervision.

Able to troubleshoot and repair down to board and/or component level.
Experienced in using digital multi-meter, oscilloscope

Able to perform component replacement/solder repair if necessary.
(possible balast fuse replacement)

20.00 per hour

Must have:
Laptop with wifi.
Cell phone with Nationwide service for Tech Support
2 USB Keys
Own soldering station - with fine micro solder tips

Working Location: Myrtle Beach SC (29572)



Must have the following skill sets:

• Two years experience in component level troubleshooting and repair of CRT televisions

• Precision soldering experience

• Experience using digital multi-meter

• Experience using oscilloscope

• Ability to work unsupervised

• MUST be able to perform component replacement/solder repair.(will need to have own solder station)

MUST HAVE:

• Lap top computer with Wi-Fi

• Cell phone with nationwide service for tech support

• 2 USB drives 1 or 2 gigs

• solder station

Must be able to pass a background check

Requirements are (but not limited to the following)

• 2 years exprience in Consumer Electronics

• Basic computer skills

• Basic knowledge of computer applications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing to component level

• Solid hardware and software experience

• A+ certification is a huge plus

• Solder experience

• Consumer electronics experience is a plus
