Renderings Needed
I need a renderer for 3 to 4 renderings budget permitting. I need two exterior shots and one interior so you must be able to pull off both scenes. The exterior shots are heavily landscaped with a natural terrain, and the interior shot will show the landscape through large windows. It should go without saying that you need to be a master of the landscape too. The only tricky exterior material would be cedar shingles, otherwise it's just stones, plaster, woods, and a bit of patina-ed copper.
The project is an eastern european catholic residence with heavy timber framing and contemporary detailing. That contrast needs to pop so your ability to capture the details is important.
Please send samples of your work that you think would suit my intrests. I'd also like to see your pricing per image and approximate time to complete the images you're showing. If your typical pricing differs from the price you charged for the images you're presenting please describe the difference.
I will supply you with a fully modeled (rhino) design that you should just convert to your preferred software and render. I'll also establish the camera angles that you'll only have to match. You should then ONLY have to render exceptionally well.
Model Maker Needed
Model maker needed to build approx. 3ftx3ft fully landscaped base with 1/8" scale house in the middle. Prefer basic materials, minimal to no paint with the exception of light dusting or higlights. Tasteful landscape painting could work too if done right.
Please send image samples of your work and assign a price tag to each so I can get an idea of your fees. Please also include an approximate timeframe to complete each work you're presenting as samples. I'm only interested in calendar days, not man hours. The project deadline is in the first week of January so please only respond if your schedule pemits.
I'm really interested in the professionals out there or the really good amatuers for an exceptional model.

FZAD ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN, P.C.
41 East 60th Street New York NY 10022 Tel 212.243.2933 Fax 212.243.2868
1. FZAD Architecture + Design is a boutique office that does creative retail, residential and commercial architectural and interior projects. Our web site targets the unique client. (www.fzad.com) We have been in business for 23 years and have a very extensive portfolio. What distinguishes us from other firms is our high end approach with the principals on site to manage the project during construction. We have a convenient office in New York City at 41 East 60th Street between Madison and Park Avenue.
2. This advertisement is directed for older architects – over 60 – who have a knowledge base both for business and personal contacts they have gathered over the years as well as an understanding of the profession that is only gained by experience. This advertisement is directed to those individuals who are entrepreneurial in nature and spirit - this is critically important.
3. The problem is on one wants to hire you despite all of this knowledge and contacts. You either may not be groovy enough, or you may simply not know computers. But can you imagine if we had a group of older people – the wealth of knowledge and the breadth of contacts – it would be truly exciting to walk into a meeting with 5 men and woman in gray hair who all have 45 years experience – how could we not get the project! Then you match this with our young staff of architects and designers doing 3D work and amazing drawings and it becomes truly an atelier of great thought provoking people. In a sense anything goes as long as we can earn a living from it. We also have two staff members that specialize in competitions as well.
4. I can change that, Wright, Meir, Johnson were all old when they did their first great job. Hence I believe in the age of the profession and furthermore I can return the opportunity. I want to leverage those contacts and your zest to practice in the profession. If you can get the projects I will support you with an entire midtown office with the technical drafting and design team.
