I have a 20' sailboat, about 2000 lbs, sitting on a trailer in Long Island. Need to get it towed to Rhode Island or Maine sometime soon.
Need person with boat trailer towing experience and own truck/SUV (with hitch) to tow this sucker for a 6 - 8 hour drive. All details can be worked out to accommodate right person. Right person is someone responsible, with boat experience and some extra time on their hands. Departure date should be within next few weeks. Weekday or weekend OK. Return trip to bring boat back is also possible, a few months later... if that's of interest. Boat is on South Shore. If taking a ferry across from North Fork makes sense, I will pay for that. We can discuss gas, tolls, etc.

Person can make the trip alone or with own companion or I can send someone to accompany the driver if desired. If person wants to make the trip over 2 days, i.e. with a stop along the way, that's fine too. Key is that they drive slow and careful and not bang up the boat/trailer. Please do not reply if you have never owned and towed around something on a large trailer - I need someone who has towed boats many, many times ... will know about right tongue weight, trailer sway, right turn radius, braking and acceleration adjustments, etc. Need someone who has towed on long trips.
