Corporate short-term contract work (Midtown)


Corporate law firm is in need of recent law school graduates for short-term contract work. This is an opportunity for some real world work experience, although admittedly not very sophisticated work. It is not a career position and contracts will be for 3-6 months. This position may help in bolstering resumes to secure more permanent employment when the hiring market rebounds.

Attention to detail and ability to focus on a relatively monotonous set of work product is important. Familiarity with PACER and S.E.C. databases is a plus and should be mentioned if applicable to you. Higher hourly rates and quality bonuses are possible for stellar performance, but this opportunity is chiefly for experience and references.

Work hours would be generally 9am-5pm and 3-5 days per week (you can pick 1 or 2 days per week not to work, but those particular days must be agreed upon contract time, and not changed during the course of engagement).
