Carnegie Hall, the world’s foremost music venue, is seeking an energetic web-savvy new media professional to serve as Director of eStrategy to oversee the newly-created eStrategy Team within the Marketing & Creative Services Department.



This individual, along with the Director of Interactive Services, directs Carnegie Hall’s digital presence, steering the website and its online extensions to insure a coherent presence across all interactive media channels. This individual formulates marketing and content strategy for Carnegie Hall’s virtual presence —encompassing broadcasting, social media, online philanthropy and e-commerce—and executes the strategy with staff in the Marketing and Creative Services, Artistic Programming, Interactive Services, Ticketing, and Development Departments, as well as the Weill Music Institute. Additionally this person collaborates closely with Marketing, Editorial, and Artistic departments to maintain and further the institutional brand.

Senior Brand Ambassador for Tobacco Nightlife Program! (New York, NY)


GMR Marketing, the nation’s leader in event marketing, is looking for a Senior Brand Ambassador for our tobacco nightlife program. This is a part time position that requires a very flexible schedule. Candidates must be available to work 3-4 evenings a week along with some day time hours for administrative duties.


Position Duties/Responsibilities

• The primary duty of the Senior Brand Ambassador (SBA) is to lead a team of Brand Ambassadors (BA) on assigned program nights. The SBA and BAs execute consumer interactions for scheduled Program Nights in locally signed venues (bars, pubs, and clubs).

• While at a signed venue, the SBA and BAs will be building brand awareness to gain exposure and trial at promotional program nights.

• Throughout the duration of the Program Night, the SBA is responsible for managing the event, supervising BAs, and is always conscious of upholding the MSA and legal standards. The SBA is always present as the primary venue contact and the program’s logistical troubleshooter.

• The SBA will also be responsible for managing and evaluating the growth of their team of BAs. This will include the ability to evaluate, coach and assist in developing performance plans for each BA as well as successfully running and cultivating their market and team’s growth potential.

• The position also requires the SBA to regularly attend program trainings to keep up to date on current and relevant promotions and information related to their position.

• The SBA will perform administrative duties including recapping the results of executed program nights.
