1985 Yamaha Maxim and Maxim X front forks and lower triple tree. AKS XJ 700 and XJ700X. These are from an X that was purchased in 86 as left over. In 87 I blew the engine with about 4K miles on it. These went from hanging on the garage wall for about three years to packed away in a case in my attic until now. They might need new seals, but then again they might not. I have more maxim parts around as well.

Just came out of the shop. Carbs rebuilt, intake manifolds, seals, etc...
Inspected only a few months ago. All the motor seals were replaced when I put tags on it. Runs like a top.
Pirelli tires are perfect
Seat is perfect.
Everything functions.
I switched gas tank and side covers to the metallic purple and flames a few months ago. Custom panted, perfect shape, NOT ONE SPOT OF RUST IN THE TANK. It's perfect.
I still have the old black tank and side covers if you want them too.
I'll throw in a bulldog alarm lock if you take the bike. This is a $150 lock. It comes equipped with a pager so if the alarm goes off within a half mile from you, you'll know right away.
Please note:
I will not ship the bike. No tire kickers. No "test rides" without cash in full in my hands. I have the clean title in my hands. No low ballers. I'm taking a loss selling it at this price so I know what I want and that's what I'm expecting to get. I still ride it daily so I'm not super pressed to get rid of it. There's a motorcycle shop a few blocks from my house so I can go with you there if you need help with tags, inspection, etc.. This is the place I got the bike from.
