Looking for Manhattan Programming shop to help our inhouse programmers (Long Island City & Manhattan)

We are a 10-year old company that provides a web-based system to the real estate industry and we are looking for a small-midesize programming shop that can assist us in programming a range of really interesting new extensions to our product that don't seem to make it off our "To Do" list because we don't have enough manpower.

We currently have a full-time team of 4 programmers and 1 graphic designer who are keeping up with our current workload (barely) but we have a good number of other pieces we want to develop.

We develop mostly in MICROSOFT VB.NET, Telerik, Visual Studio (Team foundation) and the whole .NET framework, and so we are looking for a shop that can work in that environment, but we also need specific capabilities in the areas of Web services, Winforms, Microsft Synch Framework, iPhone Apps. We are a VERY smart and capable group of inhouse programmers, so we would look for nothing less from our partners.

Could be a great opportunity for a Programming shop to either get to put to use some extra manpower, or to build on ongoing relationship with us which could keep a steady stream of work flowing your way.

We envision a scenario whereby we would commit either to specific projects, or to a specific number of hours per week, and we would want to work at least part of the time side-by-side, so that you need to be located someplace convenient to either Long Island City or Manhattan (5th Avenue and 18th st.). (PLEASE, NO OVERSEAS OUTSORUCE COMPANIES!) We would expect a somewhat better rate than a regular retail client, but are willing to pay a respectable rate.

If this sounds like this could be a good fit for your company, please respond and tell us what your company's capabilities are, and examples of your work, and what your thoughts are about this type of arrangement.

Freelance Flash & Rich Media (Gramercy)

For a growing digital creative shop. If you are a creative freelance digital designer/programmer capable of producing first-rate digital advertising, familiar with major online publishers' requirements and have worked with ad-serving companies like DoubleClick, PointRoll, EyeWonder or similar, have a keen sense of social media integration, in-ad gaming and have kickass multimedia skills, we'd like to talk to you. Please send resume and URL of your portfolio. The length of your experience matters less to us than your skills and design sense. Work here or there, depending on upcoming projects.

Web Design Intern (Midtown)

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in web usability - where design and function go hand in hand. Activities will range from laying out comps for the web, design of e-mail creatives and preparing files for the web.
You must be Proficient in Photoshop.

You must have an eye for design and be flexible in your creativity. You should have the ability to multi-task and implement projects with limited instructions and have excellent organizational skills. You need to be a self-starter but our shop is a very cool place to work, and we are just a few blocks from Times Square on Broadway.

This is an unpaid internship and we request a minimum of 24 hr/wk and at least a 3 month commitment.

You must send a link to your on-line portfolio and/or jpeg/PDF samples along with your Resume.
