Masters Swim Coach - World Famous Mission Viejo Nadadores (Mission Viejo)

The World Famous Mission Viejo Nadadores Masters Adult Swim Team is looking for a part-time Masters coach. Current membership consists of 250+ swimmers.

The coach would primarily coach Monday-Friday evenings, Tuesday and Thursday mid-morning/noon, and Sunday workouts.

Desired qualifications include: previous coaching experience, current certifications (CPR, First Aid, Coaches Safety and ASCA) Passionate of Masters swimming and coaching, reliable and well organized.

Additional Responsibilities:
Actively promote open water, pool and triathlon competitions
Lead members to get-a-way competition events
Participate in weekly coaches meetings

Expected hours will be approximately 15-20 hours per week, including time on deck. Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience.

SAT and ACT Tutors
The College Blueprint’s Institute for Academic Excellence is seeking recent college graduates, graduate students, or credentialed teachers to tutor students in ACT and SAT preparation and Subject tutoring.

Position Overview
Currently, we are hiring tutors for our standardized testing program as well as Math/Science, English/History and Language subjects. Our tutors work one-on-one with our students.

Qualifications
Applicants must be responsible, punctual, personable, and flexible as well as willing to tutor in the student’s home or in our offices in Irvine and Newport Beach and attend a monthly tutor meeting in our Irvine office. Tutors are required to have reliable transportation. Applicants must have demonstrated proficiency in their subject area, provide one academic reference in subject area, and one personal reference with application. The ideal candidates will be flexible, highly organized, have experience tutoring for standardized tests and be able to work well with all types of students and interact professionally with parents and teachers. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Interview required. Because of the importance of maintaining consistency with students, tutors are asked to make a commitment of a minimum of 6 months, and preferably a year. Submit cover letter, resume, transcript, references, GPA, and standardized test scores, if applicable. Interviews will be scheduled upon receipt of all information. Successful candidates must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.

Hours
Hours are flexible. Candidates must be available some late afternoons and early evenings Mondays through Thursdays and either Saturdays or Sundays. Schedules can be arranged to fit the needs of the student and tutor.
