Field Collection Specialist (Part Time) - #2311 (Canon City, CO)

Basic Purpose

Under minimal supervision, responsible for collection of company equipment and/or balances due from existing or previous customers homes.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects converter boxes, cable modems, eMTAs and other company owned equipment from previous subscribers homes meeting quota as established by supervisor.

• Collects amounts due or past due from customers to re-activate or continue services.

• Lifts and carries loads up to 50 lbs.

• May manipulate connectors, fasteners and wire and use hand tools.

• Maintains accurate logs and activity sheets as required.

• Works varying schedule as required by supervisor.

• Travels throughout franchise areas as necessary, using personal vehicle.

• Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully with customers and co-workers.

• Employee will be paid Draw vs. Commission. The hourly draw is $10.00.

• Employee is expected to earn a minimum commission of $400 per pay period.

• Employee will be paid only for the physical collection and return of equipment, that has been physically disconnected three or more days.
• Employee will use direct contact (knocking on doors) and/or phone contact as the only means for soliciting unreturned equipment.

• Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Neat, personable appearance.
• Good telephone decorum.
• Dependable transportation, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Prove insurability for personal vehicle.
• Mature judgment and ability to work independently.
• Previous collection experience, preferred.

Responsibilities: Receives calls from consumers and cable providers. Provides technical support on Cable and DSL Modems, Video Products, and Satellite Products. Experience with consumer home networking, cable modems, DSL Gateways/Routers. Video/Satellite experience a plus. Call Center environment.



Skills and Qualifications required: Applicants must have an Associates degree in a related field or significant work experience working in the field. Applicants should be familiar with wired and wireless networking.

$10.50.hr to $11.50/hr

MUST HAVE 6-MONTHS EXPERIENCE.
