Wanted: Rehearsal space to practice music (Moscow/Pullman)

Mature, responsible adults looking for a rehearsal space for a place to practice music, with reasonable rates.
We do not play at a loud volume and promise no partys or other people whatsoever.
Would keep everything nice and clean, and look out for the property.
We would be willing to do light carpentry/improvements/clean up projects on premises for partial rent...If that is desireable.
And can give you references if that would ease your mind.

Seeking noise colloborator (pullman)

Seeking another for sound experimentation. I'm not necessarily looking to create "music", this would an attempt to create audio atmosphere. I've got several bass amps that I use for a variety of homemade pieces of sound equipment. It would be best if you have some form of amplification to cover frequency above my low bass amp. Guitar Noise would be cool as long as you're creative, although I'm not looking for riffs.

Also, any drummers: I play bass, I like experimental music, minimal, dark. Hit me up!

Female singer wanted for folk duo (Pullman (WSU))

I'm a guitar player and singer who wants to start a folk duo. My two biggest influences are probably Neil Young and Iron & Wine, so think of music in that vein... slow, but with really cool harmonies. I think it would be neat to be able to perform at some of the open mics around here.

A little about me: I'm 20, I've been playing guitar for 7 years. I have some recording equipment if we wanted to get into that, and we can practice at my apartment or wherever else. I'm a really laid back guy... I just want to write some cool songs with someone and perform.

You: should be a student around here (I don't care where), hopefully able to harmonize, and songwriting/lyrics writing would be helpful but not necessary. I'm looking for someone with a softer kind of voice (or at least able to sing softly when you want to), and possibly with a good falsetto. Any instrument you play is a bonus.

I probably won't be able to start practicing for a week or two because I'm taking a trip next weekend, but please email me if you're interested.

Hard Rock Cover Band w/great Vocals Looking for Bassist (Lewiston)

We are looking for a bassist.

We are a hard rock cover band based out of Lewiston. We cover mostly music from the last 15 years, stuff like: Creed, Alter Bridge, Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls, Fuel, Stone Temple Pilots, Lit, Alice in Chains, etc.

We have a great vocalist and there are no prima donnas in this band. Everyone is down to earth, easygoing, and has a love for music and performing. We just need that bottom end to complete us.

Age is not an issue (our ages are all over the map). We're just looking for a good bass player with an equally good personality. No drugs or booze baggage. Just be a good person and love playing; we're willing to give you a try.

Musicians wanted for backing "band" for local bellydance troup (Moscow, ID)

This is for a periodic, non-paying, backing "band" for local bellydance troup

Hand percussionists or other musicians willing to try a "Middle Eastern influenced sound", whether it be a modern instrument or not. We're starting off with a dumbek and beledi rhythm and take it from there. Middle Eastern rhythms are easy to learn, but rich complexity can be built on them. This isn't about being historically accurate, it's about having fun and generating a good beat, often to non-standard time
signatures.

Level of experience is less significant than your ability to learn and consistently play to a specific rhythm. Plenty of solo opportunities for more advanced players, just depends on the mix.

The basic idea is to back a group of ladies for local performances every once in a while. We'll meet once a week either Thursday nights in Moscow or Sunday nights in Troy, long enough to get our act together and coordinate with them. After that, we'll agree on what the best schedule will be.
