Lost Cat in Cary, NC

Abbey is a sweet, but shy adult long-haired, calico cat. She got out on Monday (3/8/2010) when one of her owners had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. She has never been outside before this. Her owners are very worried about her.

Found A Bulldog from North Carolina (Kissimmee, FL)

I adopted a bulldog off craigslist almost 2 weeks ago with NO papers and we believe he is stolen. The person we got the dog from said he would let the previous owner from North Carolina know to contact us to send the bulldog's papers to us. The man we got the dog from in Orlando had the dog for only 3 days. He is very well trained but can get aggressive and we cannot control him. Someone MUST have put alot of love into him because he does do some tricks and is 100% house broken. He can be very loving but he does get set off sometimes and will get aggressive and will not respond to us to control him. We want to bring him back to his owner but we get no help or responses from the person who gave him to us. If you are missing him please email me with some details about the dog and I will respond to you. We would like to get him back to his rightful owner. I believe the dog has been passed around alot but I also believe someone is looking for him.

Lola- bolted during the thunder last night. Likely wandering lost in Preston Village. (We hope!) Very skittish dog, came to us feral 3 years ago. Not aggressive in the slightest. More likely to come to a woman, child or teen. Scared of strangers and men. She is a catahoula dog- most folks mistake her for a Blue Tick hound or an Australian Cattle dog. Black coat mottled with white, with brown (rotteweiler type) "eyebrows" and brown/white markings on tail, chest and feet.

FOUND DOGS - Two Black Lab Puppies & One Additional Black Dog (Fuquay-Varina)

FOUND - three black dogs. Corner of Old Honeycutt Rd. and Kennebec Rd. in Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Two (look like) black lab puppies - very obviously siblings. They look like identical twins. But one is a boy and the other is a girl. Best GUESS is that they're 6 months or under.

ALSO, one sort-of shaggy black dog. A bit bigger than the two puppies but not a large dog. Still a puppy, but seems to be a little bit older than the other two. Some white toes on this one.

The three clearly know and love each other. They snuggle and climb on each other, and when they first came running up they were sticking together. They are incredibly cute and sweet and they look very healthy. They had no collars on.

Please help us find the family that is missing these three dogs! Thank you!

Missing - hunting dog (Hillsborough/Cedar Grove)

Small female hound-mix jumped bail on Monday 08 March 2010 and was last seen high-tailing it through the brush in the vicinity of Lake Orange Road. This little sweetie is a skilled escape artist who can jump a 5 ft fence with little effort. Due to previous jailbreak attempts her collar was removed for her safety.

She has big brown eyes, twirls like a ballerina, and is always training for a marathon. A permanent injury left her with a stiff left front leg that she holds up when she walks or runs. Don’t be fooled by her slender figure. Sadie is a very spoiled and loved member of the family. Though she had a tough life, her rescue led her to find her Forever Home and we miss her very much.

My wife and I went out to eat at local Golden Corral in Fuquay (one beside Smithfields Barbecue) and lost a small Niko digital camera w/LCD display within the last few weeks. Our 11 year old Female Sheltie Myko (pronounced Mee-Ko) disappeared from our backyard in Oxford, NC early on Friday, 3/5. There was a possible sighting of her on Wednesday 3/11 just off I 85 in the woods walking around near exit 191 (heading south). This would place her near the Providence, Creedmoor, and most likely area between Butner-Creedmoor near the Hardees just off the interstate. If you see her or find her, she is a child's pet and needs medication. She may bark, but is friendly and wouldn't bite. Please help if you can.

We found a black and white cat in my kayak. He is very friendly and was just begging to be picked up and brought inside.

We took him to the vet; no microchip, but he is neutured so he may be lost or abandoned.

If we can't find an owner for him we'll probably need to find him a new home. If you think you may want to adopt him, please let us know. I would hate for him to be put in a shelter. He knows how to use a litter box and really just wants to curl up in a ball (as seen in the pic below).

My Gray Tabby Cat did not come home last night. He is an indoor cat that occasionally sneaks out as he did last night and he always comes back a couple of hours later. He went out areound 7:30 and is still not back. I live on 55 in Angier right by the blinking lights off Guy Rd. Right across the street from Ray Hart Lane. Found one very large dog and one very small dog (Willow Spring, NC)

I live off of Old Stage and there is a very large shaggy dog and a very small dog hanging around my house today. If you have lost either dog let me know. The little dog has a collar and if you can tell me what it looks like and what the dog looks like then I can keep them here until you come get them. I feel horrible for both dogs because this is not the first sighting I have had of them. I wish I could keep them and take care of them but I have a cat, little god, and baby. I would go around my neighborhood but I have a baby and really do not want ot take her house to house and worry people. Found - Black Dog - Young Female (Downtown Raleigh)

Yesterday, we found a young, shy, mixed-breed female dog wandering around outside our home off of Hillsborough & St. Mary's Streets near downtown Raleigh. She had no tags or collar. She was also very hungry and thirsty, so it is possible that she has been roaming for some time and is not from near where we live. After several hours of trying to coerce her to come closer (and her also not running away), a couple of passersby helped wrangle her into their car. She is currently the SPCA of Wake County. We are not sure if she was microchipped but the SPCA will determine whether or not she has a chip.

She appears to be about 1 year old, weighs about 25 pounds, is in excellent health but is not fixed. She has a very sweet, but timid, temperament. My guess is that she is a mostly black lab - [possibly] border collie mix, but I'm no expert. If you are missing a young female dog or know someone who this dog might belong to, please contact me or the SPCA of Wake County.

Found 16G memory stick (Gas station near Wake Tech)

Hey I found a portable 16 gig memory stick on the floor at the Fiddle-Stix gas station at Hwy 401 and Ten Ten road. Its the one that is attached to Mcdonalds. I found it on the floor mat at 12:15 am on March 7.
It appears to be owned by a student whos first name is listed but no other contact info is available. However there is some school projects saved on it. Send email if you can identify it. By identify I mean tell me what kind of info is stored on it the name associated with it.

Sighting- small dog white w/tan patches (High House Rd Stone Creek Harris Teeter)

There was a small dog lost at the Stone Creek Harris Teeter on High House Rd. At 8pm. Looks like a Jack Russel Mix. I tryed to get his attention but he seemed scarred. Ran across intersection behind the Cornerstone Fire Station. I hope his owner sees this and it helps.

SIGHTING - Large Breed Dog with leash attached (Poole Road, Raleigh)

Saw a large breed dog in the parking lot to my office. He was very dark in color and tall. He had a leash that he was dragging and he also looked a little hungry. I whistled at him and he didn't run, but he had no interest in coming to me either.
This is the 2nd time I have seen this dog in this area.
Hope this is someone's baby and they find this posting.

Seen: Pet Dog, solid black (New Hope Commons, Durham, NC)

03/05/10- Spotted at New Hope Commons, Durham, around 9:30pm, medium-sized black dog (lab mix?) with hairy tail running up and down the road by the pond at Barnes and Noble. Dog is afraid and skittish, will not come when summoned. If you're dog is missing, this may be your dog. Tried to call animal control, but they were closed.
