Data Tech Technician (Reading)
We are expanding our services to Philadelphia. We are looking to establish relationships with Field Techs looking to become our Primary Partner in each of these selective cities.
The ideal Primary Partner will need to be skilled, organized, a self-starter, excellent communicator with consistent follow-up. Completed tickets will be required for each job on a daily basis and often include both customer signatures and digital photographs. Techs must have lap top, cell phone, and digital camera.
Duration of job varies dependent upon type of call. Length of request can range from 1 hour to 6 months+. Typical jobs average 2-4 hours. Primary Partners have flexibility on what jobs they accept, but we are looking to find someone who gives us priority on their daily schedule. We will reward Partners with incentives beyond a paycheck for loyalty. There will be little supervision; however, phone support from our corporate office in Houston will be provided.
Must have cabling/telecom experience – preference given to candidates with Cisco experience and/or education. Additionally, must have a reliable vehicle, basic telecom tool kit, and ladder. Prefer Techs who have worked in this type of Field Tech environment before. Preferable, but not required, is experience with CCTV and Alarm Systems.
The hours given fluctuate, and can range from nothing to 30-40+ hours a week, depending on customer needs. If you also receive tickets/job orders from other sources, that is fine, just tell us what schedule you can work.
Hourly Rate Range: $25/hour for on-site time. Compensation for travel depends on job: mileage chart, trip charge, mileage reimbursement are all possibilities. Incentive program for all Primary Partners.

Resolvit IT & Management Consulting (Resolvit) is looking for a Systems Engineer to work as full-time Resolvit employee. Successful candidates will work with a platform technical lead to implement Baseline Security Configuration (BSC) requirements on UNIX servers (Solaris 8, 9, 10). Automate system scans using UNIX Korn shell scripting to review current server security compliancy. Generate plain text reports detailing which machines have issues that need to be addressed to bring them in to compliance with the new BSC regulations.
In addition, this candidate will have a working knowledge of Remedy and will perform troubleshooting and/or configuration changes to resolve issues in support of the production environment (Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, and webMethods in a UNIX environment). The ideal candidate will use their experience, to not only meet the expectations of our client, but to reach beyond our client’s expectations.

Salary: 90k-125K + 15k-18K Bonus
Responsibilities:
Provide presales support in the assigned region to regional sales engineers and sales reps for the Managed Services segment of company’s business. This includes hosting of customer’s production critical environments and the various services that revolve around that segment of the business; monitoring, application support, etc.
Deliver technical presentations of company service offerings to new and existing customers.
Gather technical information on the customers IT environment. Including but not limited to data center operations, hardware and operating systems, networking infrastructure, backup processes and applications.
Engage customers to extract critical technical and business drivers that may position company deliverables.
Engineer detailed and/or complex solutions for Managed Services.
Prioritize and manage to the regional sales opportunities and goals.

Qualifications:
College degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
Prefer degree in Computer Science, Engineering or work experience equivalent.
Significant experience in Managed Services
5 – 7 years of technical services support or pre-sales support experience.
5 - 7 years of managed hosting services or networking experience.
"Creditworthiness" and ability to use a personal credit card for all reimbursable expenses is required
Excellent PC skills and common business applications. ( MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
Detailed knowledge of Information Technology to include data center infrastructures, data backup and recovery concepts and technologies.
