Women's Soccer (Sacramento)

We are an outdoor women's soccer team and are looking for new players! You must be 18+ and have some soccer experience. We play weekly games on Sundays (usually at 11:00 am). I think this one is a huge SCAM. I googled the site "helpsagency.org" and the website is hastily put together. Google and McAfee Website Checker software says it is questionable site. I haven't called them though.

Last year, my wife and I decided to take our son out of gymnastics classes and enroll him in karate. He just wasn’t enjoying gymnastics anymore and we had found a karate program that was convenient to our home and we thought we’d give it a try. We didn’t really know how lucky we were to have found this program. We didn’t know what karate was all about and we had no idea what Shotokan Karate was. We were just looking for an inexpensive activity for our son that he’d enjoy.

HE LOVED IT FROM THE BEGINNING!

I guess boys will be boys. They love to pretend fight and they need an outlet for all their energy. But we were impressed at all of the mental discipline and respect he was learning at the same time (in addition to the physical exercise and improvement in coordination). Our two daughters were continuing in gymnastics and would come with us to watch our son’s class. In no time, they wanted to quit gymnastics and sign up for karate. So that’s what we did. Shortly thereafter, I told my wife that I thought I’d like to give it a try. So we signed me up. A few weeks later my wife signed up. So now all five of us are studying karate as a family and we absolutely love it!

If you’re interested in a great activity that you can do with your whole family, I highly recommend SA Shotokan Karate Academy in Orangevale. You can sign up through the Orangevale Recreation and Park District. It is not expensive. Your first three months are only $60 and that includes your gi (uniform)! After that it is only $50 per month. We were spending $125 a month for gymnastics for each of our children.

If you do decide to give it a try, bring this form with you to your first class and give it to Sensei Adriaan. He likes to know how his new students hear about him.

Scientology "groups" they are as evil as you've heard. (Sacramento)

As most Craigslist readers already know, there are several over posted ads in the "groups", "events", and "classes" sections by a person named "Tony (916)519-5287", and that several life threatening emails have been sent to someone by and for this "Tony."
During the investigation of the "call Tony" ads it was discovered that this person is "Tony Chen" who is employed by the Dianetics/Scientology group at 3825 Marconi avenue, that is according to his Facebook public profile. Unfortunately, the Craigslist community is not the first people to fall victim to the Dianetics ( Dianetics and Scientology are trademarks of the Religious Technology Centre (RTC)) ideology and death threats.
