Illegal foreign trespassers can and should be deported, (search operation wetback) and you will see it has been done before. With unemployment out of control in our country it is time to get all of the illegal’s repatriated. I fear that at some point if they are not run out by our ineffective government there could be violence.

If I were a young American who had lost his job and lost his house and maybe a car, and had a couple of young kids to feed with no job and unemployment about to run out I could get violent. So the $787,000,000,000 stimulus comes to roughly $2,500 for every man, woman, and child in the United States. I think it would have been better spent if they had just handed over the cash instead. So a family of four would get a check for ten grand. Octomom would get $37,500. Then we could spend our money however we wanted to. Pay off debt, go on trips, buy new cars, tvs, toys, whatever. Then of course people would have to be hired to serve us our meals, sell us our plane tickets, cars, toys, gas, etc. I think this would be a more efficient use of the stimulus money. UC Davis recently reported that they had created jobs with stimulus money, but if you divided the number of jobs by the money spent, it came to almost $300,000 per job. - not very efficient, or possibly (but not likely) very overpaid.

So, what do you think? Just divvy up the remaining stimulus money as big checks to everyone who files their 2009 taxes?

Food Bank in Rancho Cordova (Rancho Cordova)

The economy may be rebounding, but that news has been slow to reach the streets, where family's may be having a tough time. The food bank in Rancho Cordova had come up on my web search for food donations. I called the Food Bank today and asked what they were in need of. I was told Baby Food, Diapers, and Turkeys.

I was running out of time to get the food and diapers to 10497 Coloma Rd, before 1:30PM. When I pulled up to the location I had an uneasy feeling. But knowing I had two turkeys and a number of bags of canned and boxed food and diapers that I wanted to donate in my car. I didn't know where to take the food, due to the people standing around and eating I walked up to a table and before I could say anything a lady said, "GREAT THOSE LOOK LIKE GOOD ONES", as she winked at his older man, then a man said in a mean voice... set them up there. I set the turkeys on a table and walked back to my car to get the bags of food. While doing so, I noticed he was walking to the parking lot with the two turkeys I just set on the table, when our eyes met he turned around and took the turkeys to a shed. Never did I hear thank you, would you like a reciept, or even kiss my ass.

I have learned a hard lesson today after spending $90.00 on donations. Next time I'll find a family in a store that looks like their in need and buy them food.

My question is. How much of the food that is donated, goes home with people that help out at this food bank. How many people are turned away that are need of a little help because of the so called help at this food bank taking the food home for their use.

A sign of the times it seems. So where is the father of this kid when this argument is taking place? Does this kid even have a father in his/her life (sorry couldn't tell if this kid was male or female but that's another thing entirely). Only thing that really comes to mind is how drastically different things are today. I would never have thought to even raise my hand to my mom because she would have belted me a good one and if not then my dad would have stepped in. That's because I had two parents at home. Not to put a dark light on my childhood because my parents raised me in a positive manner but there was a high level of respect there and sometimes you knew better than to escalate the situation. Maybe it's just me too but I really think that things have been skewed to a very large degree by all of this touchy feely time outs and talking nonsense. Ok, some of it stands but I think every now and again a child needs to feel your hand on his/her bottom in a firm manner. Not in anger but as a motivator to straighten up. Whatever happened to that idea and how did it come about that it is a form of abuse? Bullshit! My kids have felt my hand on their butts on more than a few occasions (my son mostly) but even at their ages (8 and 10) they are well mannered kids compared to the bunch that I see in places like the mall and the store. But they know the love and caring from two parents working together as well. That was a sad video. That kid needs a few lessons in respect for the parent and that mom needs to step up and quit trying to argue with an already out of control emotional child because you don't win. Psychopathy at it's finest

Yeah this is the problem with obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizaphrenia, narcissitic and in a nut shell, having psychological disorders that are under the umbrella of being a psychopath. Here's what a psychopath is:

psychopath (formerly termed "sociopath")

A psychopath will use people for excitement, entertainment, to build their self-esteem

and they invariably value people in terms of their material value (e.g. money, property,

comfort, etc..). They can involve and get other people into trouble quickly and they seem

to have no regret for their actions. To date there is no checklist of behavior and

symptoms that will tell you with certainty whether or not a person is a psychopath. But

there are warning signs. The following warning signs are based on my experience but

primarily research conducted by Robert Hare, Ph.D - the leading expert on the

Psychopathic Personality.

The idea that psychopaths eat people is a myth. In reality, a person with a psychopathic

personality can lead what appears to be an ordinary life. They can have jobs, get married

and they can break the law like anyone else. But their jobs and marriages usually don’t

last and their life is usually on the verge of personal chaos. They are almost always in

some kind of trouble or they are not far from it.

A psychopath is usually a subtle manipulator. They do this by playing to the emotions of

others. They typically have high verbal intelligence, but they lack what is commonly

referred to as "emotional intelligence". There is always a shallow quality to the

emotional aspect of their stories. In particular they have difficulty describing how they

felt, why they felt that way, or how others may feel and why. In many cases you almost

have to explain it to them. Close friends and parents will often end up explaining to the

psychopath how they feel and how others feel who have been hurt by him or her. They can

do this over and over with no significant change in the person's choices and behavior.

They don't understand or appreciate the impact that their behavior has on others. They do

appreciate what it means when they are caught breaking rules or the law even though they

seem to end up in trouble again. They desperately avoid incarceration and loss of freedom

but continue to act as if they can get away with breaking the rules. They don't learn

from these consequences. They seem to react with feelings and regret when they are

caught. But their regret is not so much for other people as it is for the consequences

that their behavior has had on them, their freedom, their resources and their so called

"friends." They can be very sad for their self. A psychopath is always in it for their

self even when it seems like they are caring for and helping others. The definition of

their "friends" are people who support the psychopath and protect them from the

consequence of their own antisocial behavior. Shallow friendships, low emotional

intelligence, using people, antisocial attitudes and failure to learn from the repeated

consequences of their choices and actions help identify the psychopath.

Psychopaths with low intelligence or a poor education seem to end up in jail more than

ones with a higher education. The lack of emotional insight is the first good sign you

may be involved with a psychopath. The second best sign is a history of criminal behavior

in which a person does not seem to learn from their experience, but merely thinks about

ways to not get caught.


Egocentric and grandiose

Psychopaths have a narcissistic and grossly inflated view of their self-worth and

importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement. They see

themselves as the center of the universe, as superior beings who are justified in living

according to their own rules.

Typically, psychopaths attempt to appear experts in sociology, psychiatry, medicine,

psychology, philosophy, poetry, literature, art or law. A signpost to this trait is often

a smooth lack of concern at being found out that they are not.

Psychopaths' lack of remorse or guilt is associated with a remarkable ability to

rationalize their behavior and to shrug off personal responsibility for actions that

cause shock and disappointment to family, friends, associates and others who have played

by the rules. Usually they have handy excuses for their behavior, and in some cases they

deny that it happened at all.


Lack of empathy

The feelings of other people are of no concern to psychopaths. Psychopaths view people as

little more than objects to be used for their own gratification. The weak and the

vulnerable—whom they mock, rather than pity—are favorite targets.

Psychopaths display a general lack of empathy. They are indifferent to the rights and

suffering of family members and strangers alike. If they do maintain ties with their

spouses or children it is only because they see their family members as possessions, much

like their stereos or automobiles.

Because of their inability to appreciate the feelings of others, some psychopaths are

capable of behavior that normal people find not only horrific but baffling. For example,

they can torture and mutilate their victims with about the same sense of concern that we

feel when we carve a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.

However, except in movies and books, very few psychopaths commit crimes of this sort.

Their callousness typically emerges in less dramatic, though still devastating, ways:

parasitically bleeding other people of their possessions, savings and dignity;

aggressively doing and taking what they want; shamefully neglecting the physical and

emotional welfare of their families; engaging in an unending series of casual, impersonal

and trivial sexual relationships; and so forth.



Deceitful and manipulative

Lying, deceiving and manipulation are natural talents for psychopaths. Given their

glibness and the facility with which they lie, it is not surprising that psychopaths

successfully cheat, bilk, defraud, con and manipulate people and have not the slightest

compunction about doing so. They are often forthright in describing themselves as con

men, hustlers or fraud artists. Their statements often reveal their belief that the world

is made up of "givers and takers," predators and prey, and that it would be very foolish

not to exploit the weaknesses of others.

Some of their operations are elaborate and well thought out, whereas others are quite

simple: stringing along several women at the same time, or convincing family members and

friends that money is needed "to bail me out of a jam." Whatever the scheme, it is

carried off in a cool, self-assured, brazen manner.



Shallow emotions

Psychopaths seem to suffer a kind of emotional poverty that limits the range and depth of

their feelings. While at times they appear cold and unemotional, they are prone to

dramatic, shallow and short-lived displays of feeling. Careful observers are left with

the impression that they are play-acting and that little is going on below the surface.

Laboratory experiments using biomedical recorders have shown that psychopaths lack the

physiological responses normally associated with fear. The significance of this finding

is that, for most people, the fear produced by threats of pain or punishment is an

unpleasant emotion and a powerful motivator of behavior. Not so with psychopaths; they

merrily plunge on, perhaps knowing what might happen but not really caring.



Impulsive

Psychopaths are unlikely to spend much time weighing the pros and cons of a course of

action or considering the possible consequences. "I did it because I felt like it," is a

common response.

More than displays of temper, impulsive acts often result from an aim that plays a

central role in most of the psychopath's behavior: to achieve immediate satisfaction,

pleasure or relief. So, family members, employers and co-workers typically find

themselves standing around asking themselves what happened—jobs are quit, relationships

broken off, plans changed, houses ransacked, people hurt, often for what appears to be

little more than a whim.

Psychopaths tend to live day-to-day and to change their plans frequently. They give

little serious thought to the future and worry about it even less.



Poor behavior controls

In psychopaths, inhibitory controls are weak, and the slightest provocation is sufficient

to overcome them. As a result, psychopaths are short-tempered or hot-headed and tend to

respond to frustration, failure, discipline and criticism with sudden violence, threats

and verbal abuse. They take offense easily and become angry and aggressive over

trivialities, and often in a context that appears inappropriate to others. But their

outbursts, extreme as they may be, are generally short-lived, and they quickly resume

acting as if nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

Although psychopaths have a "hair trigger" and readily initiate aggressive displays,

their ensuing behavior is not out of control. On the contrary, when psychopaths "blow

their stack" it is as if they are having a temper tantrum; they know exactly what they

are doing. Their aggressive displays are "cold;" they lack the intense emotional arousal

experienced by others when they lose their temper.

It's not unusual for psychopaths to inflict serious physical or emotional damage on

others, sometimes routinely, and yet refuse to acknowledge that they have a problem

controlling their tempers. In most cases, they see their aggressive displays as natural

responses to provocation.



Need for excitement

Psychopaths have an ongoing and excessive need for excitement—they long to live in the

fast lane or "on the edge," where the action is. In many cases the action involves

breaking the rules.

Some psychopaths use a wide variety of drugs as part of their general search for

something new and exciting, and they often move from place to place and job to job

searching for a fresh buzz. Many psychopaths describe "doing crime" for excitement or

thrills.

The flip side of this yearning for excitement is an inability to tolerate routine or

monotony. Psychopaths are easily bored. You are not likely to find them engaged in

occupations or activities that are dull, repetitive or that require intense concentration

over long periods.



Lack of responsibility

Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths. Their good intentions—"I'll

never cheat on you again"—are promises written on the wind.

Truly horrendous credit histories, for example, reveal the lightly taken debt, the

shrugged-off loan, the empty pledge to contribute to a child's support. The

irresponsibility and unreliability of psychopaths extend to every part of their lives.

Their performance on the job is erratic, with frequent absences, misuse of company

resources, violations of company policy, and general untrustworthiness. They do not honor

formal or implied commitments to people, organizations or principles.

Indifference to the welfare of children—their own as well as those of a man or woman they

happen to be living with at the time—is a common theme among psychopaths. Psychopaths see

children as an inconvenience. Typically, they leave children on their own for extended

periods or in the care of unreliable sitters.

Psychopaths are frequently successful in talking their way out of trouble—"I've learned

my lesson;" "You have my word that it won't happen again;" "It was simply a big

misunderstanding;" "Trust me." They are almost as successful in convincing the criminal

justice system of their good intentions and their trustworthiness. Although they

frequently manage to obtain probation, a suspended sentence or early release from prison,

they simply ignore the conditions imposed by the courts.



Early behavior problems

Most psychopaths begin to exhibit serious behavioral problems at an early age. These

might include persistent lying, cheating, theft, fire setting, truancy, class disruption,

substance abuse, vandalism, violence, bullying, running away and precocious sexuality.

Adult antisocial behavior

Psychopaths consider the rules and expectations of society inconvenient and unreasonable,

impediments to their inclinations and wishes. They make their own rules, both as children

and as adults.

Many of the antisocial acts of psychopaths lead to criminal convictions. Even within

prison populations psychopaths stand out, largely because their antisocial and illegal

activities are more varied and frequent than are those of other criminals.

Not all psychopaths end up in jail. Many of the things they do escape detection or

prosecution, or are on the "shady side of the law." For them, antisocial behavior may

consist of phony stock promotions, questionable business and professional practices,

spouse or child abuse, and so forth. Many others do things that, although not illegal,

are unethical, immoral or harmful to others: philandering, cheating on a spouse,

financial or emotional neglect of family members, irresponsible use of company resources

or funds, to name but a few. The problem with behaviors of this sort is that they are

difficult to document and evaluate without the active cooperation of family, friends,

acquaintances and business associates.

Coercive persuasion or thought reform as it is sometimes known, is best understood as a coordinated system of graduated coercive influence and behavior control designed to deceptively and surreptitiously manipulate and influence individuals, usually in a group setting, in order for the originators of the program to profit in some way, normally financially or politically.

The essential strategy used by those operating such programs is to systematically select, sequence and coordinate numerous coercive persuasion tactics over CONTINUOUS PERIODS OF TIME. There are seven main tactic types found in various combinations in a coercive persuasion program. A coercive persuasion program can still be quite effective without the presence of ALL seven of these tactic types.

TACTIC 1. The individual is prepared for thought reform through increased suggestibility and/or "softening up," specifically through hypnotic or other suggestibility-increasing techniques such as: A. Extended audio, visual, verbal, or tactile fixation drills; B. Excessive exact repetition of routine activities; C. Decreased sleep; D. Nutritional restriction.

TACTIC 2. Using rewards and punishments, efforts are made to establish considerable control over a person's social environment, time, and sources of social support. Social isolation is promoted. Contact with family and friends is abridged, as is contact with persons who do not share group-approved attitudes. Economic and other dependence on the group is fostered. (In the forerunner to coercive persuasion, brainwashing, this was rather easy to achieve through simple imprisonment.)

TACTIC 3. Disconfirming information and nonsupporting opinions are prohibited in group communication. Rules exist about permissible topics to discuss with outsiders. Communication is highly controlled. An "in-group" language is usually constructed.

TACTIC 4. Frequent and intense attempts are made to cause a person to re-evaluate the most central aspects of his or her experience of self and prior conduct in negative ways. Efforts are designed to destabilize and undermine the subject's basic consciousness, reality awareness, world view, emotional control, and defense mechanisms as well as getting them to reinterpret their life's history, and adopt a new version of causality.

TACTIC 5. Intense and frequent attempts are made to undermine a person's confidence in himself and his judgment, creating a sense of powerlessness.

TACTIC 6. Nonphysical punishments are used such as intense humiliation, loss of privilege, social isolation, social status changes, intense guilt, anxiety, manipulation and other techniques for creating strong aversive emotional arousals, etc.

TACTIC 7. Certain secular psychological threats [force] are used or are present: That failure to adopt the approved attitude, belief, or consequent behavior will lead to severe punishment or dire consequence, (e.g. physical or mental illness, the reappearance of a prior physical illness, drug dependence, economic collapse, social failure, divorce, disintegration, failure to find a mate, etc.).

Eight Point Model of Thought Reform

1. ENVIRONMENT CONTROL. Limitation of many/all forms of communication with those outside the group. Books, magazines, letters and visits with friends and family are taboo. "Come out and be separate!"

2. MYSTICAL MANIPULATION. The potential convert to the group becomes convinced of the higher purpose and special calling of the
group through a profound encounter / experience, for example, through an alleged miracle or prophetic word of those in the group.

3. DEMAND FOR PURITY. An explicit goal of the group is to bring about some kind of change, whether it be on a global, social, or
personal level. "Perfection is possible if one stays with the group and is committed."

4. CULT OF CONFESSION. The unhealthy practice of self disclosure to members in the group. Often in the context of a public gathering in the group, admitting past sins and imperfections, even doubts about the group and critical thoughts about the integrity of the leaders.

5. SACRED SCIENCE. The group's perspective is absolutely true and completely adequate to explain EVERYTHING. The doctrine is not subject to amendments or question. ABSOLUTE conformity to the doctrine is required.

6. LOADED LANGUAGE. A new vocabulary emerges within the context of the group. Group members "think" within the very abstract
and narrow parameters of the group's doctrine. The terminology sufficiently stops members from thinking critically by reinforcing a "black and white" mentality. Loaded terms and clichés prejudice thinking.

7. DOCTRINE OVER PERSON. Pre-group experience and group experience are narrowly and decisively interpreted through the absolute doctrine, even when experience contradicts the doctrine.

8. DISPENSING OF EXISTENCE. Salvation is possible only in the group. Those who leave the group are doomed.

COERCIVE PERSUASION IS NOT PEACEFUL PERSUASION

A child who recently garnered a DRIVERS PERMIT.

Of course - that infers a PhD in knowing about REAL driving ????

In the mayhem that poses as school traffic, it's become an all too common occurrence, that other
drivers who might NORMALLY seem capable of say chewing gum and walking at the same time - invariably
decide to block intersections with insane and stifled U-turns.

With myself giving a nice visible signal that I intend to turn into said intersection - I remain
amazed when the errant SUV goes right ahead and blocks that entire intersection (acting like a deer in the headlights).

Today - I honked when the driver just STOPPED - being blocked from herself blocking that area - and sat there
waiting HER turn to further clog traffic.

My child erupted - accusing ME of being the ignorant fool - and how rude and impatient I AM.

I therefore suggest they create a PhD in Ignotard Studies - so I might better understand how to act like the
rest of the world is non-existent, when driving !!!

Chipping and putting might be for those seeking multiple doctorates.

Glad you respect it even if you still don't get it. Oh, I do get you. But the reality of life is that you choose what you let bother you. There are all kinds of things that can bother you,...if you let them. Everybody is going to have something different to say about what you should do with yourself but the only thing that matters is what YOU want to do. Life is short enough in finding what makes you happy on your own merits. It's far shorter worrying over what other people think you should be doing and frankly, I don't have the time nor the energy to deploy on it. That's my point. In fact it is not worthy of any time discussing this as it is one of those things you either get or don't and if you are still getting caught up in the stray bullets of meaningless doctrines being fired in your direction by those who feel they have a say then you are in the class that doesn't get it.
