Shih-Tzu Needs New Home (Albany)

Our male Shih Tzu needs a loving home. I've put him on CL before but didn't have the heart to find him a new home. He's 4 years old and is a very loving, spunky dog. His claim to fame is he moves his back legs like a chicken and scratches. ;-) My issue with him is he likes to mark his territory (aka pee in my home). I've tried diapers, baby gates just kicking him outside, or banishing him to the bathroom. It all doesn't work well for me and I feel terrible when he's not part of our family. Diapers do work alright but I just get annoyed with having to diaper my dog when I have a baby in diapers. He is ACA registered and I paid $500 for him. I would like a rehoming fee of $100 for him. He is missing an eye as something attacked him a couple years back but I just groom him so that his hair covers his eye.

I'd like to find him some loving companions as soon as possible. I have lost my patience one too many times with him and his body language shows that he doesn't feel loved here and secure anymore. It's heartbreaking.

Hi All-
I am currently looking for a stay at home mom who would like to watch an extra child. I have an eight month old baby boy. He is a very happy baby and very easy to take care of. I have specifics I’m looking for such as:

• No smoking at all. Even if you smoke outside, the smoke smell still transfers to the child’s clothes.

• Preferably no pets, but willing to discuss.

• A daily sheet filled out about details about my son’s day, such as what he ate, moods, etc.

• Clean and neat place of residence.

• Someone who is flexible in scheduling. I need someone who can watch him probably most Saturdays (5:45a to 4p). I will drop him off and my boyfriend will pick him up anywhere from 4:30p to 6:00p. There are some occasional mornings where I work at 6a so I would need to drop him off at 5:45a, but I usually work at 8am, so I would need to drop him off at 7:45a. Also, if I have an appointment for myself I need someone to watch him for a couple hours on my days off. I have days off during the week and I work a three week work schedule. A normal shift of babysitting would be 9 to 10 hours.

• Someone who will work with him not just put him on the floor to play by himself or in the swing.

• He also goes to his grandparents for a week at a time about every six to eight weeks, so must be ok with not being paid when he's not there for that week.

I want someone who genuinely loves babies and children and cares for my son as with their own.

• Someone who is VERY reliable. I understand life happens and things come up where a person can't babysit, but for the most part I want someone who is reliable.

Rates are negotiable. Total hours per week are variable.

Need Volleyball players (Salida Depot (Big Lake))

Hello, I am looking for some players for this upcoming summer volleyball league. It is at the Salida Depot, just 2 miles N of Monticello on Hwy 10 and crossroad 11. It is beer bar league sand volleyball. No skill required, just show up and have fun. If I can get 6 players, and the enrollment fee stays at 100, the cost will be around 13$ They do serve beer and drinks outside. They tap a keg every night but that's a little spendy up front. I think they upped it to 50$ last year, but it's good all year (from June - Sept) and it's all you can drink. So far (due to unfortunate circumstances) I only have me and another guy. So I'll need at least another man and 3 women. We are very laid back, easy going guys. No pressure to bump, set, or spike the ball perfectly. I know I'm that good at either one of those. Young Farm Cat (Raymond- Clara City)

9 month old female, long haired, calico Farm cat. I did want to keep her but i have to many female cats and she is gentle and tame. I do not believe she is pregnant but no guarantees. I do not wish to see her on another website or the Human Society web page. If you don't want her do not come and pick her up. she is an outside cat but did spend the winter in the heated shed with wood chips used in the litter box.

We are looking for daycare in the St. Cloud area for an 18 month old. Prefer the Westwood/Gold's Gym area, but would consider Waite Park, St. Joe and possibly Sartell areas as well. Hours would be 7:15 - 5:00. Hours may be a little different depending where you are located. Would like a daycare that has a pre-school curriculm or at least does daily activities/learning with the kids. Do not want a daycare provider that just leaves the kids in a room while they are doing other things all day. Once in awhile is understandable though. Other things we are looking for: fenced in yard so kids don't run off when playing outside, no pets, and no smoking.

Bus Help Needed - East Side (Talahi)

I have a daughter who attends Talahi school, she is in first grade. My husband has to be to work by 7am and I have to be to work by 6:30am (new job) and our daughters bus does not come until 7:11am. That creates a dilema for us. So I was hoping, by Monday (if possible), to find someone in the Talahi school district that won't charge me an arm and a leg to help her get on the bus in the morning. Do any providers do that? I'm not sure. Or just a parent whose child goes to Talahi. Her school does not have the early morning Kidstop. I would be willing to pay something for your time.

I am interested in finding a dog to fit our home.

. I live in a house with a fenced in yard. I also have 2 cats and a 13 year old son.

I work out of my home and am curious to know how your dog handles being alone and if they kennel or free roams when people are gone. Does they a method of letting you know they have to go or do you just let her out frequently?

I would like to know how active they are and how they do with other dogs out in public. We take camping trips in the summer and our cap ground has other dogs both big and little. My cats are declawed, so no worries she will get hurt by them. They have been around other cats and animals and just prefer to ignore them unless the one feels frisky to play.

I am wondering if you have an insight as well on how she would adapt to a new home, and new people.

Being I have a 13 year old who has been around animals his whole life from fish to rodents to cats to dogs and family member’s horses and farm animal. He is very loving to animals and is looking for a playmate with a dog, someone who will fetch or chase, interact with him.

I would want to know their health history and their currency on shots to this date, as well is if they are spayed or neutered.

Daycare Openings ages 2 and up (S. St. Cloud)

I am a licensed, certified daycare provider who has 2 openings for ages 2 and up and 2 openings for school age children. I take full time and part time positions. I am certified in CPR, SIDS, First Aid, and Shaken Baby Syndrome. My hours are 5:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. I am located at 2396 Clearwater Road, St. Cloud. I provide lots of fun activities for all ages and provide nuturious meals for the children. I am on the Child Care Choices food program. The children are in a smoke free environment, fenced in back yard, there are no pets in the home, and we do many learning activities throughout the day which keeps the children busy.
Every second Saturday of the month, I do a date night for the parents. Just a little something I give back to the parents that is at no charge and gives you a night out without the kids. It runs from 7:00 pm to midnight. We do alot of fun activities and watch movies with snacks through out the night.

So what exactly is a fair price to pay someone that you'll be expecting to keep your children safe???

I agree with the other posters. Your attitude is offputting at best and the way you list your expectations is extremely offensive. Demanding how someone spend their summer with your children? What they can and cannot do as far as spending time outside? And it's one thing to say my kids don't do well having naps I'd prefer they not have any and another thing entirely to go on and on and on about it ranting like a lunatic. If you have to do that, if you don't trust your potential "babysitters" here enough that you have to near threaten them to get your point across then perhaps you shouldn't be contemplating leaving your children in their care.

I don't know of any licensed daycare providers that charge more than $3/hour per child and many offer sibling discounts. Where you get that anyone would charge $10 an hour for two children is beyond me....

And FYI, if you're not making that much as a child care *teacher* cool beans, but as a licensed child care provider I make near double that (again charging just $3/hour/kid), sometimes more, and I earn every penny I make. I could have offered your children a spot in my home daycare for $3 an hour for the first child, $1.50 an hour for the second. My kids all spend all summer outside. With the exception of rainy days we don't watch tv here. I have a phenomenal yard. I'm on a food program and if kids' parents don't want them to take naps they don't. I'm licensed, background checked, professionally trained and experienced beyond your comprehension. I've never had an unsatisfied parent or unhappy child. Reason I won't extend an invitation to you? Your attitude. You're what most child care providers would describe as a "nightmare parent" and as much as I would probably adore your children there isn't enough money in the world you could offer me to deal with you day to day.

Best of luck in finding someone that may be willing to.

That is the thing. I am not looking for a "NANNY". Nanny's do much more and deserve much more money. A true "Nanny" runs errands, helps with the house, picks the children up etc...and therefore would require more pay. I am looking for a babysitter. You know, that thing people used to do back in the day so children can just play during the Summer. That is the thing kids do during the Summer..play, without expectations of them, besides play. My kids do deserve that. They deserve a stress free Summer where they can simply play and not be drug around here and there and all over town and do this and that. They do that all year long. Summer is for playing, getting sun shine. Again, I'm not looking for a "Nanny". I am just looking for someone who will keep my kids safe while they have a fun Summer, maybe make some new friends.
