Hi, heres basically what I need. A place to leave my car while I am backpacking in the National forest, as well as drop off and pick up on assigned dates. You will have to use your car for the drop-off and pick up, I am offering $10 a day for the parking and $1 dollar a mile minimum $30 for the rides. Lets say I am out 6 days, 60 bucks parking. lets say 10 miles to drop me off, still 30 bucks and lets say its 40 miles to pick me up at the end, thats 80 so you pocket 60+30+80 or $150 for a few hours driving your car and letting me park at your place. Not expensive compared to the $500 it cost to fix my car when it was broken into. You MUST be able to make the pick up at the assigned time, I will have a cell phone but coverage may not be available so I will be counting on you, perfect for the retiree.

Pastor (Osceola Mills)

The Morning Star Fellowship Church, in Osceola Mills, PA is seeking an ordained minister to fill a part time pastoral position. We are a non-denominational church that is built off of the beliefs, and the structure of the Free Methodist teachings. We believe that the church’s Pastor is an integral part of the church family. The belief is held that the church warrants a Pastor that will do more than give the sermon on Sunday.

The ideal candidate would believe and commit to the requirements found in the scriptures 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Peter 5:1-6. These are scriptures that the church finds whole and true on what a Pastor candidate should be.

The Pastor candidate must be an upright and holy man who seeks to be a Good Shepherd of his church, just as Christ is a good shepherd to his flock. First and foremost it is necessary that our Pastor holds God’s word to the highest. It is necessary that the Pastor believes in Heaven and Hell and that the straight and narrow is the only way to sit at the right hand of God. Listed below are a list of characteristics of a pastor that the pastor search committee and the church congregation believe are of up most importance to the growth and life of the church.

The Morning Star Fellowship Church worships in what use to be a one room school house. We have gone from a congregation of 10 to a regular group of 50, sometimes a packed full church of 70+ people. We have this Pastor vacancy due to the good Lord calling our last pastor home to serve him in Heaven. We are 45 minutes from Penn State University, State College, and Altoona. We are located in a very small, rural town. This position carries a weekly salary and vacation time. There is no available compensation for relocating and this position would not be able sustain a family as a sole income. No additional benefits are offered.
The position includes filling the pulpit for Sunday morning services, Sunday evening services, Wednesday prayer meeting as well as visiting sick, injured, and shut-ins. There are occasional picnics and spiritual gatherings.
