If the rent is $450 then utilities need to be included in the rent because I can only afford up to $450 a month, and because I am on a fixed income, I can not afford to pay a deposit.

A little about me:
I am a 45yr old female who is receiving social security but also active in volunteer work in the mental health field Monday through Friday, and will be doing some work soon at UOP. I am a quiet person who keeps to myself, I don’t smoke, drink socialy but hardly ever do. I AM NOT a substance abuse user, not a partier, I seldom ever have any company over but that is not to say that I never will, just letting you know that I am not a real socialable person. My activities are volunteer work, reading and doing research online for the mental health groups that I facilitate. I eventually would like to join a health fitness club, as I am going through some major changes in my life and want to make some positive changes which also include changes to my health. I am an easy going, quiet and respectable person.

What I am looking for in a rental:
The price of rental which I am looking for is above which you have already read. I need a room for rent in May, as I need to give my current landlord a month notice before leaving. My reason for moving? I will be doing some work soon at UOP and need to be as close to UOP as possible, as I do not drive and the bus schedules here in Stockton are not very accomodating. I am basically looking for a home where everyone respects the home, themselves, as well as other tenants in the home. The home should be smoke free, no drug abuse-substance abuse going on, no excessive drinking or out of control partying/parties and no animals/pets unless of course they are fish, I don’t mind fish. I need a DRAMA FREE environment where everyone respects each other as well as a clean environment where everyone cleans up after themselves. The home should be free of any kind of pests such as roaches, rodents, excessive amounts of spiders or reacurring ant problems. I need a warm home and not an icebox. No, the home does not have to be hot all the time just kept at a decent temperature where I am not freezing and feel like I’m in the north pole during winter. I have no use for cable as I am not a tv person, however, I will need Internet access as I am online a lot doing research/reading, and there should be laundry facility access in the home as well. I will also need to be able to use the kitchen for cooking and because I do not have any kitchen items, it would be nice if you would share your kitchen items with me. I buy my own food that is no problem and I don’t mind sharing as long as you share and pitch in too. A quiet home is ideal but does not need to be like a library. There needs to be enough room in the fridge and pantry to be able to store food items . I say this because there have been times I have rented a room without enough storage space to store my food. And you to have a "tenant" living in your house. Taking care of the house. And that is what I would be doing, is taking care of your house, while I am living there. Do you have a house that I can stay in and take care of it, while I am looking for a job. I am hoping to get something soon. But I am not sure when I would be able to get the job. Or if you have a mobile home that I can stay in, or a studio/mother in law type housing, that would be fine too. As long as I have room to move around in, space for storage, etc. I am on a very limited time line, so I have the added stress of job hunting and looking for housing at the same time.

Now I am also willing to look at RV's, if you have one that is sitting there, and not being used. I would be more than happy to look at it and see if it will fit my needs. Must be at least no more than year 2000(10 yrs old). So it must be in good condition, no repairs, tagged, registered, etc.

Family of 4 with a Min Pin looking for a house in a rural area to rent. Within 30 minutes of Tracy would be nice. Tracy, Manteca, French Camp, Lathrop, etc. or even SW Stockton, possibly Ripon. We are calm, quiet, clean, respectable people looking for a peaceful place to live. We always pay on time and have excellent rental reference and good credit. I have a few requirements:
1. Must be away from the heart of the city or at least the house should be placed on lot where you are not right up against your neighbor
2. Must have a large area of land for tenant use
3. Must allow tenant to grow garden in the summer
4. Must allow small dog (min pin). He is potty trained and very well behaved and we don't allow him on carpet.


That being said, other pluses but not necessities are garage, basement, more than one bathroom, any included appliances, outbuildings, use of gardening equipment, etc. The size of the house is not a big deal, as we are used to living in small quarters. If it is a one bedroom and you don't mind renting to a family, I would love to hear about it. I love charming cozy places. I would be open to anything $1,100/month or less.
