48 hour Film-Fest Group Needs Actors (Tallahassee)

We are participating in the Tallahassee 48-hour film festival and we are in need of 2-4 male actors and 1-2 female actors. We are shooting Saturday, March 20th from 10am til 5pm. If you come out with us, you will be fed in the morning (donuts and OJ) and for lunch (pizza). We will be shooting outside for the duration of the day, unless it starts raining. The setting will be in a nature-esque environment.

If you are interested please send a headshot and a list ofany sort of experience you may have had with film or acting before. A professional headshot is not necessary, a simple recent picture will suffice as well.
Because we are competing in the "student" category, it is somewhat necessary that most of our crew are students.

Trying to start a couples therapy group! (Tallahassee)

With the divorce rate at 50% there is no surprise that being in a relationship takes work. Unfortunately many individuals do not understand what to work on, much less how to work on it. The goal of this group is to provide couples with a safe environment where they can express the feelings and emotions that are associated with being in a relationship, and have an opportunity to get non-threatening objective feedback.
This is an attempt to provide an alternative to traditional therapy. In these hard economic times, the cost of traditional therapy is more than most budgets can handle, but that does not mean that relationships do not continue to suffer.
Understandably confessing your inner most thoughts and emotions can be embarrassing which is why this group will create a safe non-threatening environment where the process can begin towards strengthening relationships.

My motivation and my goal:

I am a married woman of 3 years and I have one child. I have recently realized that being in a relationship/marriage requires work and I was ill prepared. I have people that I talk to that give me objective feedback, however it does not help my situation unless my significant other is involved. I have had many in depth conversations with my spouse and it seems as though we do not hear each other, and if we do, we do not know how to rectify the situation. I feel as though we would benefit greatly from hearing a third objective point of view. The last thing I want to do is get divored and be added to the countless number of divorces in the United States. I also would like my child to grow up in a LOVING two parent household.

My husband and I are not in a situation where we can afford to pay upwards of a $100 for traditional therapy. I sincerely believe that being in a group setting will allow us to express our emotions and understand that we are not alone. Many relationships and marriages suffer the same pitfalls and without being able to be open an honest, these pitfalls will continue to destroy relationships. I am not naive to think that all relationships can be salvaged, however I do believe that participating in open and honest discussions will allow the work to begin to either strenghten the relationship or realize that may it cannot be salvaged.

Many of us have taken vows "until death do us part" and there is no reason that we should have to live unhappily or unsatisfied.

I know that I am not the only person experiencing difficulty in maintaining a health relationship and I would like for anyone who is interested in being a part of this group to please email me, and share with me any ideas or suggestions that you may have that would make this group a success. I would like to form a group of people before deciding upon a meeting place and time.
